The "train wrecks" I'm referring to are those t.v. shows that are fascinating in a bizarre or horrific kind of way. What draws you to the specific ones you watch?

My first is the Iron Chef. I don't watch it often, but I find it bizarrely fascinating. The chefs are too intense, the panel is too polite, and who would really want to eat a meal consisting of nothing but Pike Eel. I find myself waiting for the punch line that never comes.

The other is The Crocodile Hunter. Steve Irwin is nuts. I suspect that most people tune in hoping to see his arm get torn off by a croc. My reason is that no matter how stupid a thing I've done that day it isn't as stupid as aggravating a croc or venomous snake.
