Buried in a thread somewhere on DP Paula asked this afternoon if anyone wondered what Mark7 would make of all this.. meaning the terrorist attacks of course, and presumably the events leading up to it, and what's going to happen now. I'd been wondering the same thing myself about Mark7...He knew an awful lot about US foreign policy. I wondered if he would actually have some decent insight or if he'd just blame it all on Dr Laura or something. Thing is, I tended to agree with Mark's viewpoints but not always his method of delivery, which was to jump to major conclusions and put words in people's mouths. I loved his satirical wit though.

But remember how Mark was so passionately against the US involvement in the middle east, specifically Isreal? Well, I wonder if he's kind of thinking now I told you so or if he's as shocked and repelled by this as everyone else. But apparently he's in some kind of self-imposed exile or something.

Anyone know where Mark was originally from? I asked him once but he wouldn't answer.

And he wouldn't even recognize when people were agreeing with him. Sometimes I think he wants to play the loner.
