Tell Schremmer I love his posts, specially the one on Meghan.
I had the same opinion here.
I also agree with him that most of the media manipulation is possible in the US because of lack of basic education in areas of history, geography and world culture.
It is sad to see a boy from Afganistan who never saw a picture of the twin towers and a boy from Kentucky, who learned only creationism and Bible studies manipulated into killing each other for the sake of "God".
I'm not sure about Canada, but I trully recomend British media for all the US people who want to be informed on the middle east.
It may give them a new perspective. Zionism, Islamism, Chritian fundamentalism are the same.
Khomeini says Alah will burn every non-muslim, Rabbi says Jews are the people of God, and everybody else is scum, and Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell are just as bad as Khomeini.
Jihad translated in English is Cruciade. In Hebrew is killing some 12 years old who throw stones.
If each and every of the 100 Palestinian children killed this year alone would have had it's own 1 hour CNN documentary like the 3 poor Israeli settler kids did, and if we would see the face of the 12 year old killed with the but of the rifle by the setler who is free, Israel would not see one penny of American taxpayer money.
But CNN, NBC, ABS will not let us see their faces, will not allow us to memorize their names, so they have no impact on our souls. So we won't feel guilty next year, when our congresman or woman sends another 3 billion worth of Apache helicopters to Israel to bomb and expand the settlements (defensively in the name of the Bible and God).

With our education system and the "creationism" next generations will be even more brainwashed.
I really wish somebody would explain to me, why is the alliance with Israel good for the US. We just made all the Arab world hate our guts, and for good reason.
Why do we do this?
Are we as a nation so stupid that we cannot take our foreign policy back from the highjackers in Washington?
Why can't we just take Sharon, Arafat, and Mubarak, and tell them in no uncertain terms that they won't get one penny until they make peace, and no military stuff even after that.
Let the Israelis fight their own damn ethinc cleansing wars with their own damn sheckels.
I hope to see the day when Arafat and Sharon kill each other with stones, kinda like in Ultimate Figthing Championships.
