In reply to: Glenn 's message, "and also" on 12:08:26 07/22/01 Sun

Glen, in your reply to him over there, you asked if his comment was in follow-up to a "hmmm, Jewish" comment to you.

I've been ignoring the Mitchmania thus far, but I'd like to see the post you're refering to. If it's gone, could you please give me a quick run down?

There was just a posting back when that - after I'd said I was Jewish - Mitch wrote those words to me in his reply. I can't recall if it was his opening paragraph and he went on with street-person babbling or if that was the only thing he said.
That alerted me subliminally, then when we were all gossiping over here and listing his amazing quotes, someone mentioned that, and so it's been in my awareness now.
Interesting that in both that and this instance, it's taken others to point it out to me.

I haven't read any posts from Mitchy or Mitch, but I do remember how I got really spit on DP when I simply mentioned that I see absolutelly no advantage in the US alliance with Israel.

An alliance assumes benefits for both parties. I know what benefits Israel gets from the alliance with the US.

Israel is the greatest recepient of US aid in the period 1950 to present. I simply fail to see any benefit to the US.

We only get to bankroll Israel's holly ethnic cleansing, pay for relocation of Russian Jews in settlements in the West Bank and most Americans fail to see why America attracts Arab terrorism.

When I said those things, I was called antisemitic, idiot, moron, anti-Christ (what's Christ has to do with any of these?).

Paula let all these posts stand despide my protests.

More recently, when I mentioned that it is unfair that the US TV only shows us human faces of Israel's victims, and never shows us the human faces of Palestinian victims, Jeff went through the trouble of finding my ISP and matching it with Mark7.

I wish anti-semitism would be better defined.

Because Israel is not always right in what it does, and for some reason, in the US whomever points that out, gets into trouble.

In Europe, the tragedy of the Arab Palestinian side is shown a lot better.

What happened to Jews in Europe during Hitler's reign in no way justifies what they do to Palestinians today, in their thirst for land.

See, go ahead, call me an antisemit, a moron and so on...

There are no good guys there, and I don't know why anyone would choose to support one side or the other, including us.

So they put a Star of David on their flag. If we put a cross on our flag, would we guarantee the support of Christians throughout the world?

The Palestinians did get a great martyr in that 11-year-old boy who was killed hanging onto his father. It had to open some eyes.

I saw a big documentary on the two poor Israeli boys killed on their way home from school in the settlements.

A well done documentary about the problems settelers face.

They interviewed the parents of the Israeli boys. I had one question I wish I would have asked those parents.

What right did they have to bring their children into a war zone?

Honestly, if they were Russian Jews fleeing the colapse of the Soviet Union, I would have had simpathy for their situation.

But they left America, and moved their children into a war zone. I don't believe these parents had the right to do so.

In essence they used their children as pawns in their religion, trying to get land away from other 12 year olds who get shot for their rights on that land.

In order for the report to be fair, they should have shown the parents of some Arab kids that got killed in the conflict.

Maybe if they show enough of this kind of grief, the parents would fight this ugly war, and let the kids live.

But like animals, it is easy to pray on the young, the old and the sick. While Barack and Arafat shake hands and smile for the cameras. Disgusting.

My personal problem is that because the US government decided to give unconditional support to Israel, I am indirectly a part to a great crime. My tax money is used to arm killers of 12 year old Palestinian kids who throw stones for the right to live as free equal men in the land they were born.

And I do believe that the Arab story has never been told in America. I have sympathy for Jews who came from WW2 ravaged Europe. I also have some understanding for the Jews from Eastern Europe trying to live a better life.

I have little respect or understading for some parents who decide to live the safety of US, or Western Europe in search of the Bible myth and take children in the West Bank Settlements exposing them to death, or to become killers of Palestinian boys same age, later when they grow up.

I wish the sad story of the Palestinian woman who's house was demolished by Israeli tanks would be told. I would like Americans to see her 9 children, and give those 9 homeless Palestinian children REASONS why they should not become martyrs in some stupid Jihad.

The REASONS would have to be HOPE in a better life in West Bank and Gaza, a life where they can determine their destiny.

So far, I honestly believe that any rational human being who has the bad luck to be born Palestinian in the occupied territories would have it as faith to become a martyr in the Jihad.

Simply, life offers no alternative to martyrdom.

It's obvious to everybody that you and I have a different view of the Mideast and I won't bother to start that debate again.
I did however want to say that at no time in that debate did I suggest you were anti-semitic for criticizing Israel's policies. For the record, I don't think you've said anything that makes you an antisemite and I never suggested that I did. See my reply to Forest in the antisemitism thread now on DP, where I confirm again that criticism of Israel doesn't automatically make somebody an antisemite. There are Jews who are critical of Israel,(members of the Peace Now movement for example).

Now stop the nonesense about my checking ISPs. A two year old would have known that "Alice" was you. It was particularly obvious in the thread on DP at time where masturbation came up as a possibility to relieve sexual frustration and you said all the same things you always used to say. People had also mentioned here on BT that they recognized you, so I was hardly the only one.

"Jeff went through the trouble of finding my ISP and matching it with Mark7."

Everybody knew right away that Alice was you, I think I may have been the first to mention it publicly here - but everyone had already been thinking it, and they were quite sure.

Why do you persist in making blatant misstatements about how you were banned, and the reasons you were banned? Do you imagine that anyone is fooled? Are you even aware that it seriously weakens your arguments on other subjects?

I guess it must have been Paula's PMS.

But I did get called all the names above, when I simply asked what benefit does the US have from the alliance with Israel.

And Paula let those threads go.

And if I replied in kind, you, other DP a$$ki$$ers and Paula started getting on my case.

The "one trick pony" was old, and was not a general insult, it was particulary addressed to me.

If you ask me, Paula was obssessed with Clinton's BJ for quite a while.

Maybe I should have called her a one trick mare or something.

I really didn't see Mitchy's statement as being racist. The Germans do have some nice bands for weddings and naturally they do the OmmPah song..At least that's the way I took it. I mean if you want to see dishevel, go to IS..
Hey, take it from me, I'm protestant (Christian), but attend a Catholic Church at various times. Well, when I feel like it. I honor all religions and you've got six on this side and the other half dozen on the other side trying to make their point.
You know half of the people who try and make points about other countries and religion have never been out of the states. I've seen about the entire world for one reason or another and I can relate, but why even argue with certain people..
They have studied it in a University, so they're experts now. Excuse me, forgot one other thangey, they also have the internet..LMAO...
