I don't know much about cars, but have followed racing (a bit) since I was born as my dad used to race stock cars (and my brother used to race his bike). I LOVE speed (cars and motorcycles) so this movie was great to me ;) I did notice all the cars were older models than I thought they would be. And I wanted to see more motorcycle racing ;)

Most of them were new models, except for a couple, I'm pretty sure. I'll ask my husband, he knows the year and make of every car in the darn thing. LOL.

Just rode my bike back from a date upstate, 90 miles and I made it in just over an hour. Was only able to average about 45mph through a 1/3rd of the ride (the very tight & twisty wooded part, where deer are also a factor), but once I hit the thruway, well, you do the math ;-)

As for The Fast & The Furious, I was looking forward to that movie for months, and wasn't disappointed. Sure, I wish they would've shown more crotch-rockets and actual races, but all in all it was a fun flick. Much better than what we saw tonight, Scary Movie 2. Be afraid, be very afraid of a part 3!!
