Well I forgot to mention my fuel pump going bad about two months ago also. Jeez, how could I forget that. Well if you have a late model car that has an electric fuel pump, then it will be lazy starting right before it goes bad. If your crusing along and feel the miss, then maybe it's a spark plug or wire going bad. That sounds like some sort of spark failure unless it stops running and then starts again by itself.

It's a 98 Tahoe, so I'm sure it's an electronic pump. I'll have one of the guys check the wires and connections. Or of course it could be my imagination over and over again. (smile)

Well yes it does have a electric fuel pump just like my truck. They are inside the fuel cell. But, I got to thinking after writing the last message, it could be your AC compressor kicking in and out if your running the AC. Good Luck

It's not exactly like the engine is cutting out or anything, it's more like a decrease in power. I'll take a drive without AC and see what happens. Either way I have some things to rule out now.
