Good morning ladies. I wonder this morning, have you ever felt like you were trapped between a rock and a hard place, ever felt like you were stuck between and ocean and an army? I believe that at times in our lives we face circumstances that feel this way. I believe that sometimes we look around and we see nothing but desert on one side and a wall of water on the other and honestly ladies, it makes us angry. We sit and think, "GOD, why would YOU allow this, why would YOU lead us to this place?" Have you been here? Have you sat with the Israelites and said, "Let's just go back to Egypt...it was better in bondage!" Let's look at what the WORD says in Exodus 14: 1-4.
Then the LORD said to Moses, "Tell the Israelites to turn back and encamp near Pi Hahiroth, between Migdol and the sea. They are to encamp by the sea, directly opposite Baal Zephon. Pharaoh will think, 'The Israelites are wandering around the land in confusion, hemmed in by the desert.' And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and he will pursue them. But I will gain glory for myself through Pharaoh and all his army, and the Egyptians will know that I am the LORD."
Can you picture this scene. Moses and about 2 million people are marching through the desert headed for the Red Sea. GOD tells Moses to have them turn back and then camp. He wants it to appear as if they are wandering around in confusion. Do you think sometimes the world must think we are terribly confused? I think they do. I think sometimes they must think we have lost our minds, and yet if we continue in faith following the LORD JESUS, HE will gain glory for HIMSELF. Did you see that in the above verses. GOD said, "Moses, I know it will look as if you aren't sure what you are doing, BUT TRUST ME...I am going to gain glory through this whole situation!" That is very encouraging to my heart this morning. If you are sitting somewhere between the desert and the Red Sea this morning I wonder if you would stop for a minute and ask yourself if maybe you are right in the middle of the Providence of YOUR GOD? Ladies, this WAS GOD's plan for the Israelites. HE had one more mighty work to do in front the Egyptians, and HE was going to use the Israelites to get it done. Will you stop this morning and ask the FATHER to examine to your heart and ask HIM if you aren't sitting in the middle of HIS providence for your life? It might just be that HE wants to use that struggle you are in today to bring HIMSELF a huge amount of glory! Are you willing to sit with HIM in the dark and allow HIM to do a work that ONLY HE COULD DO!
Difficult circumstances in our lives cause us to do one of two things...we either draw close to the FATHER, or we push HIM away. The intent is that we would run to HIM and climb up into HIS lap and take HIS YOKE upon our shoulders and allow HIM to lead us through the Red Sea in our life. If you find yourself this morning between what seem to be two impossible situations I leave you with the following verse, Luke 1:37. With GOD, NOTHING is impossible. (NOTHING= NO THING.) Trust HIM today with that difficult circumstance. Ask HIM to use it to make you all that HE wants you to be.

FATHER, may we willingly lay ourselves on the altar so that YOU can gain glory through our circumstances. May we be willing to endure any hardship to bring YOU glory. YOU ARE CERTAINLY WORTHY! FATHER, I ask you to wrap YOUR arms around those who are hurting this morning. May they experience YOUR peace and YOUR presence in ways that they have never experienced before. May they come to the place where they lay everything down in order to know you experientially. FATHER, draw our hearts to YOUR own. Teach us to accept YOUR providence in our lives and to willingly be molded into the image of the LORD JESUS! I LOVE YOU!
In the MATCHLESS NAME OF JESUS I pray. AMEN!

I am glad you were here today. Have a great day in HIM.

ONLY and ALWAYS Because of JESUS-
Vicky
