Good morning ladies. My heart is...well, I am not sure how to even put it into words. Let's look again at Exodus 33, but first let's ask the FATHER to do the work that HE has to do in each of our hearts.
O FATHER, MAY OUR HEARTS BE SURRENDERED TO YOU WHOLLY AND WITHOUT RESERVE. LORD JESUS, WRITE THESE WORDS ON OUR HEARTS THIS MORNING AS ONLY YOU CAN. TEACH US WHAT WE CAN LEARN NO OTHER WAY THAN BY YOU DIRECTLY WRITING THE TRUTHS ON OUR HEART. O FATHER, DO THE THING THIS MORNING THAT COULD ONLY BE YOU!

Exodus 33:19 And HE (GOD) said, "I MYSELF will make all MY goodness pass before you, and will proclaim the name of the LORD before you; and I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show compassion on whom I will show compassion."

I read this verse on Friday and Saturday and Sunday and now again this morning...I cannot seem to move from this place. My heart has said, "FATHER, show me what YOU WOULD HAVE ME SEE HERE." Ladies, have you ever heard HIM say to your heart..."I WILL SHOW YOU MY GOODNESS...ALL OF MY GOODNESS...AND WILL PROCLAIM MY NAME BEFORE YOU..."
Here is the truth...EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US HAVE HAD HIM SAY THESE WORDS TO US, BUT WE DON'T ALL HEAR HIM WHEN HE SAYS IT. You see, I believe that was what HE said 2000 years ago on that old rugged cross. Ladies, when HE allowed HIS SON to hang suspended on a cross between time and space, when the HE turned HIS back on HIS PRECIOUS SON, when HE allowed MY SIN to crucify HIS SON...HE IN EFFECT SAID..."I MYSELF WILL MAKE ALL MY GOODNESS PASS BEFORE YOU..."
Ma'am, HE allowed all of HIS GOODNESS TO HANG ON A CROSS TO PAY FOR YOUR SIN...TO PAY FOR MY SIN. This was both the blackest day in history and it was the most red letter day in all of human history. GOD allowed HIS SON to be put on display before our eyes...WHY? BECAUSE I BELIEVE HE WANTED US TO SEE ALL OF HIS GOODNESS.
I want to quote Oswald Chambers again this morning...Am I prepared to let God grip me by His power and do a work in me that is worthy of Himself? Sanctification is not my idea of what I want God to do for me; sanctification is God's idea of what He wants to do for me, and He has to get me into the attitude of mind and spirit where at any cost I will let Him sanctify me wholly.
Let me attempt a loose application here...Moses asked GOD to show him HIS GLORY...GOD responded by telling Moses, I will make ALL MY GOODNESS pass before you. Ladies, sometimes what we want is NOT what GOD wants to give us. Moses could not look on GOD's GLORY and live. GOD gave Moses what HE knew HE needed...NOT EXACTLY WHAT HE ASKED FOR. It wasn't about what Moses idea of what he wanted GOD to do for him...it was about what GOD knew HE wanted to do for him.
Does that make sense to you? I leave you this morning with the following question:
Are you willing to have what GOD wants for you...EVEN IF IT DOES NOT MATCH UP TO WHAT YOU WANT FOR YOURSELF?

LORD JESUS, THIS MORNING MY HEART CRIES OUT TO YOU THAT I WOULD BE SURRENDERED AND WHOLLY SUBMITTED TO YOU. MY DESIRE IS THAT I WOULD WANT NOTHING MORE THAN I WANT YOUR WILL AND YOUR AGENDA IN MY LIFE. MAY I BE YIELDED AND SURRENDERED MOMENT BY MOMENT TODAY. WHEN MY HEART BEGINS TO WANDER...DRAW ME BACK...HOLD ME CLOSE AND KEEP MY HEART CLEAN AND PURE BEFORE YOU. FATHER, TAKE MY HEART AND DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO MAKE IT ONLY AND ALWAYS YOURS. I LOVE YOU. I AM OVERWHELMED THIS MORNING WITH YOUR GOODNESS AND GRACE AND MERCY ON MY LIFE. THANK YOU FOR AGAIN THIS MORNING SPEAKING TO MY HEART. THANK YOU FOR BEING FAITHFUL, LOVING, HOLY, AWESOME, ALMIGHTY, OMNIPOTENT...THANK YOU JESUS, FOR BEING MY EVERYTHING. TAKE THIS VESSEL AND USE IT TODAY ANYWAY THAT YOU SEE FIT. I LOVE YOU AND IT IS IN YOUR MATCHLESS AND HOLY NAME THAT I PRAY THIS PRAYER. AMEN!

Ladies, have a wonderful day with JESUS today. KNOW that HE has a plan for YOU.
