The HMS Boscawen replaced (TS) Cornwall, which was renamed (again) HMS Cornwall and recommissioned by the R.N HMS Boscawen was burnt to the waterline in 1914 and scrapped the same year, after being raised from the bottom of the Tyne.

The ship was NOT know as TS Cornwall, the Cornwall was renamed TS Wellesley and later upon repossession by the R.N took back her old name.

She was a 74 gun (3rd Class) Wooden Walled Battleship. There are many pictures of both ships on the TS Wellesley Forum Site. However access is granted to individuals who can establish bonefides as 'family' members with an affiliation to TS Wellesley. I do believe you would qualify for registration.

The site is located at http://www.bgarnett.co.uk/Wellesley You will need to email the Webmaster at the address provided on the registration page, explaining your affiliation and requesting an ID and password.

Good Luck.

Brian.
