yes you guys beat us 2 times in a row (we still got the cup!) and to quote my second hero, adam foote, nothing to slit our wrists over.

the irony of it all though, is my top 4 most favorite players in the NHL wear maroon (humiliating, i know! and i will NEVER admit to this under oath): patrick, adam foote, mike keane, and scott parker. hey, keaner's a yankee fan - gotta love that! :) but other than these guys, the avs pretty much make me retch (and i mean this in the nicest way!).

but you know what, without the avs, being a red wings fan wouldn't be as much fun. if everybody was a detroit fan, what a dull (but righteous) world it would be. so you see, the evil ones . . . i'm sorry . . . your lovely colorado avalanche do serve a useful purpose to humanity. and that should make you very proud!
