I am in service to the Father and Christ as the Chosen One to bring forth the Truth to light. Together with my sisters of the Light of Life Ministry we have a very important message to deliver to all of mankind.

The hourglass is nearly empty. The culmination of End Times is upon us and the Great Tribulation is just around the corner. There are a total of TWO things that you need in order to obtain Eternal Life and Man-Made Religion is not one of them. (1) A Good Heart Condition. (2) An Acceptance of Christ as Lord and Savior.

We urge those who wish to obtain Eternal Life in Christ's Kingdom to read the following very important message: An Important End Times Message

For additional End Times information also visit: End Times Truths Revealed

And for Free End Times Newsletters visit: : End Times Truths Newsletters

We don’t aim to twist arms or convince anyone of anything they aren’t ready or willing to believe as their hearts will ultimately dictate what they perceive to be truth. However, it is also our responsibility to warn those who do not accept this Truth, will face Judgment at Armageddon. For this reason we pray that the eyes and hearts of all who read our message are opened to the Truth whether that is now, or in the near future when our words come to pass.

The following message pertains to End Times and explains what is required to obtain Eternal Life. It also explains what awaits those who reject the truth. We've been asked to deliver it by the Cherubic Order of Angels, who are our benefactors. Our intent is not to preach, judge or convince. It is our responsibility in our ordination by Christ to deliver it to all God's children as we near the culmination of End Times. Whether you choose to accept this message as truth is up to you as only those hearts that are of a positive nature and open to Christ will. It is a Free Will issue.

OUR MESSAGE OF TRUTH

The main theme of our Message of Truth is that those who wish to have eternal life must declare Jesus Christ to be Lord and Savior. This must be done in order to be one with His coming Kingdom.

We realize that many will challenge our faith and the faith of others who also declare Jesus to be Lord. They will say that we must meet certain requirements of water baptism, a belief in the Trinity and other man-made religious ideals. If those people are of some positive energy, they will see the Light. If not, they will remain opposed to what is ministered to them. That is their Free Will choice. Even if they claim to be foot-step followers of Christ, they will be deemed not worthy of Salvation unless they exhibit the Holy Spirit from within them. If they believe falsehoods about Christ, cling to their man-made religious belief systems and exhibit no signs of positive energy, they will be marked accordingly by the Cherubic Order of Angels. All people are judged by what is really in their hearts.

As part of our Ministry to those that oppose the Truth, we point out that a humble heart is the only thing that saves anyone. Without it, you are endowed with negative energy. What your heart is filled with is what springs forth with abundance from the mouth. Luke 6:45 is clear on this point:

A good man produces good out of the good storeroom of his heart. An evil man produces evil out of the evil storeroom, for his mouth speaks from the overflow of the heart.

Proverbs 4:23 is clear on the need to safeguard your heart against the wickedness of negative energy being stored there:

Guard your heart above all else, for it is the source of life.

By knowing and understanding the Truth of the Word, you treasure up within your hearts that of positive energy. That's what guides you (the Holy Spirit - Positive energy) so that you do not sin knowingly against Christ or his Father.

I have treasured Your word in my heart so that I may not sin against You. Psalms 119:11.

The problem with sin is that it cultivates negative energy. From the mind where it begins or originates, it creeps down into your heart. Then you're in trouble. That's why it's not a sin to think a bad thought, if you dismiss it. You did not act on it. Therefore, it is not a sin. But if you dwell on the wrong thought, it will creep on down into your heart and become a part of you. So, above all else, safeguard your hearts.

WHAT ABOUT WATER BAPTISM?

It is not necessary to be baptized in water to be saved. Jesus Christ was the forerunner. In Christ's Ministry, baptism in water was used to anoint him by his Father. It was continued by his disciples, because he had not yet ascended to Heaven, and had not yet received the Kingdom Authority that would later be bestowed upon him by his Father Yahweh. Once that had been fully accomplished, the Light of Truth became the baptism via the Light of Christ. The Savior's instructions given at Matthew 28:19-20, you see the baptism it speaks of is a baptism of Holy Spirit.

Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.

This takes place when one truly comes to understand the Father of Jesus Christ and accept Him as Truth. Water is no longer necessary to be sanctified. The purpose of baptism before Christ was to symbolize the shedding of one's former ways of sinful conduct. That was sanctification. Now, the baptism of sanctification is done as mentioned above. The Holy Ghost transformation is performed through the Light of Christ.

WILL YOU BE DAMNED IF NOT BAPTISED IN WATER?

Children pass over without water baptism. Some die at birth or are aborted. The children have special status with the Creator. They are not damned and neither are adults that are not water baptized. What would happen if you were shipwrecked for the remainder of you life? How could God justify not giving you a chance to learn His Sovereign Will at transition? The only requirement for Christ’s salvation is that of a humble heart. Once you are with Christ, he knows your humble heart will accept him. When you passed through his Light, you were then baptized as a Holy Ghost. The water baptism would be nil in Christ's eyes. It is the HEART that Saves. Nothing else can get you into the Kingdom unless your heart is of Positive energy. Yahweh Himself reveals this at Jeremiah 17:10.

I, the LORD, examine the mind, I test the heart to give to each according to his way, according to what his actions deserve.

If the heart were not the thing of importance, He would not search it. It is not the outward appearance that Saves, but what is hidden deep within the heart.

ALL POSITIVE ENERGY PEOPLE ARE ACCEPTABLE

People of all nationalities, regardless of race, color or religion are open to the Salvation of Christ.

Then I saw another angel flying in mid-heaven, having the eternal gospel to announce to the inhabitants of the earth to every nation, tribe, language, and people. Revelation 14:6.

Hear this, all you peoples; listen, all who inhabit the world, both low and high, rich and poor together. Psalms 49:1-2.

Then Peter began to speak: In truth, I understand that God doesn't show favoritism, but in every nation the person who fears Him and does righteousness is acceptable to Him. Acts 10:34-35.

REMEMBER - IT'S A FREE WILL CHOICE

Everyone has Free Will Choice in the decision and are able to choose one way or the other. That's why we will not try to force the Truth on to anyone.

I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you today that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Choose life so that you and your descendants may live, love the LORD your God, obey Him, and remain faithful to Him. For He is your life, and He will prolong your life in the land the LORD swore to give to your fathers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Deuteronomy 30:19-20

But if it doesn't please you to worship the LORD, choose for yourselves today the one you will worship: the gods your fathers worshiped beyond the Euphrates River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living. As for me and my family, we will worship the LORD. Joshua 24:15

If you carefully obey My commands I am giving you today, to love the LORD your God and worship Him with all your heart and all your soul, I will provide rain for your land in season, the early and late rains, and you will harvest your grain, new wine, and oil. I will provide grass in your fields for your livestock. You will eat and be satisfied. Be careful that you are not enticed to turn aside, worship, and bow down to other gods. Then the LORD's anger will burn against you. He will close the sky, and there will be no rain; the land will not yield its produce, and you will perish quickly from the good land the LORD is giving you. Deuteronomy 11:13-17

This is how we are sure that we have come to know Him: by keeping His commands. 1 John 2:3

SALVATION - KINGDOM MESSAGE COMPLETED

Now, either you will accept or reject the Truth we have ministered to you. Since everyone should come to understand that actions result in consequences, we deliver the following warning. If you decide to refuse the truth, then you will know what is ahead--even if you reject that also, at this time. Later on, you will see our words come to life. If you accept the Truth now but are later tempted to cultivate a negative energy within your heart, then the warning we share might help to prevent that from happening.

YAHWEH'S BITTER-SWEET WARNING TO ALL PEOPLE OF THE EARTH

He that exercises faith in the Son has everlasting life. He that disobeys the Son will not see life. The Wrath of God remains upon him.

The one who believes in the Son has eternal life, but the one who refuses to believe in the Son will not see life; instead, the wrath of God remains on him. John 3:36

Once you have been given the Message of Truth, if you do not obey it you are exercising your Free Will choice. However, it will result in eternal death at the Judgment. Just as Satan and his angels cannot have free reign in creation - neither will it be permitted of those that exercise that choice. Your fate is upon your own head.

Therefore I testify to you this day that I am innocent of everyone's blood, for I did not shrink back from declaring to you the whole plan of God. Acts 20:26-27

The above scripture reveals we will be clean from the blood of those who make the wrong choice. If you are so cultivated with negative energy that you hear and know that what we speak is Truth and you continue to sin willfully by rejecting that Truth, then you will lose the Sacrificial Hope of Salvation. Time will eventually run out. Armageddon is the final Judgment Chapter.

For if we deliberately sin after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins Hebrews 10:26

to proclaim the year of the LORD's favor, and the day of our God's vengeance... Isaiah 61:2

The tumult reaches to the ends of the earth because the LORD brings a case against the nations. He enters into judgment with all flesh. As for the wicked, He hands them over to the sword [This is] the LORD's declaration. Jeremiah 25:31

I tell you that on the day of judgment people will have to account for every careless word they speak. Matthew 12:36

When I say to the wicked, 'O wicked man, you will surely die,' and you do not speak out to dissuade him from his ways, that wicked man will die for his sin, and I will hold you accountable for his blood." Ezekiel 33:8

SANCTIFICATON OF THE CREATOR'S NAME

This GOOD NEWS of the Kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth and bear witness to all the nations. The nations will be made to know Yahweh. His Name must be sanctified before the nations.

I will honor the holiness of My great name, which has been profaned among the nations the name you have profaned among them. The nations will know that I am Yahweh "the declaration of the Lord GOD "when I demonstrate My holiness through you in their sight. Ezekiel 36:23

So I will make My holy name known among My people Israel and will no longer allow it to be profaned. Then the nations will know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel. Ezekiel 39:7

ARE THERE ANY FREE RIDES TO ETERNAL BLISS?

Anyone that believes they can get a free ride through eternity without going through Christ, please read:

There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12

Once you have received the Truth, you are under obligation by the Creator.

Wisdom is supreme so get wisdom. And whatever else you get, get understanding. Proverbs 4:7

"The first call to San Francisco police came in Tuesday at 12:47 p.m. -- a shiny black Honda Pilot had just plowed into another vehicle at Larkin Street and Golden Gate Avenue near Civic Center.

It's the kind of routine vehicle accident that police hear about innumerable times every day.

But this smashup was not routine. And it was no accident.

Within minutes, the driver of the Pilot would speed into the hills straddling the Western Addition and Pacific Heights, ripping back and forth through a 15-square-block area like a ripsaw on four wheels, leaping curbs, cutting corners and tearing the wrong way through traffic.

Throughout the chaos, only one thing seemed clear: The driver was on a hunt. A hunt for humans.

The day of carnage apparently began -- and took its worst toll -- in Fremont. A 54-year-old man was walking along the bike lane on Fremont Boulevard, between Ferry Lane and Decoto Road, when a black Honda Pilot sport utility vehicle came up behind him.
According to Fremont police Sgt. Jeff Swadener, the Pilot suddenly slipped into the bike lane, hitting the pedestrian and throwing his body several feet into a field between St. James the Apostle Catholic Church and a boarded-up Victorian house.

"Did the driver swerve on purpose, or was he just fumbling with a cell phone or something and drifted out of the lane? We don't know," Swadener said.

The man died at 11:50 a.m.

Almost precisely one hour later, San Francisco police received the 12:47 p.m. call from Larkin Street and Golden Gate Avenue, also involving a black Honda Pilot.

The Pilot was next seen on Sacramento and Polk streets, where Norris Song, manager of Sushi Rock, watched the SUV going by at 40-plus mph on Sacramento -- the wrong way.

Norris looked out of his restaurant and saw that the driver had hit a man in his late 20s. People crowded around the man, sitting on the sidewalk, until an ambulance arrived.

Customers shouted: "That guy's crazy!" By the time police and an ambulance arrived, the driver was gone.

within minutes, the driver of the Pilot was terrorizing the neighborhoods near the Western Addition and Pacific Heights.
At California and Fillmore streets, witnesses said, three people were struck as the Pilot ran a red light and turned south toward Bush Street.

"He was going berserk," said Eliseo Billones Jr., 24.

Dropping south of Bush Street, the Pilot bounced like a mad pinball along the streets and sidewalks, leaving a trail of blood.

Police are still trying to reconstruct the sequence of mayhem, but the locations of the hit-and-run rampage were pieced together through the accounts of police and witnesses.

Police Inspector Rich Alves said that at Webster and Sutter, the driver apparently tried to hit a pedestrian, an older Chinese man, but just clipped him. The victim was taken to the hospital with a hand injury -- one of the lucky ones.

At Frankie's Bohemian Cafe, at Pine and Divisadero, the sound of thumps turned bartender Dan Fulford's head.

Outside, he saw a woman down in the crosswalk, weeping. Across the street at the 24 bus stop, a man lay in the gutter, holding the back of his head; another man held a license plate and watched the Pilot speed away.

"Everybody was standing around, kind of in shock," Fulford said. "We thought it was a regular hit-and-run."

Customers called 911 as they trickled outside, joining a growing crowd that soon spilled off into the street -- safe in the assumption that lightning doesn't strike twice.

"We thought it was all over," said Max Bran, a regular. "Hit and run -- he's gonna get caught."

Not yet.

The Pilot also struck two women outside the Palm Tree Cafe at Bush and Divisadero streets, said owner Mai Ichikawa.

Larry Jackson saw the Pilot heading east on Bush Street, approaching a red light as a woman was crossing the street in the crosswalk.

"He let her go by till she got in front and then he just punched it,'' speeding up and knocking her down, he said. Jackson attended to the woman, who didn't appear badly hurt, as the driver sped away.

The nightmare multiplied at Sutter and Steiner, where witnesses said two men were struck as they walked across the street. As would-be rescuers tried to help, the Pilot came back through the intersection -- in an apparent attempt to hit the two men again.

And then a third time, before speeding away.

"It was just like he came back to finish the work," said witness Benny Praditkul, who works on Neecha Thai restaurant at the corner of Sutter and Steiner.

A doctor dining in the restaurant ran out to help the men who were by then lying on the curb. Both men were conscious and crying. They were taken away in an ambulance.

The Pilot rocketed north on Fillmore, past a beauty salon where stylist Linda Tuttle recalled the driver sitting close to the steering wheel, dressed like a businessman, his face angry.

Amy Yoo, who owns the Trio Cafe next door, said the SUV drove by on the sidewalk, then turned left at Bush going the wrong way, back toward Larry Jackson and the crowds growing outside Frankie's Bohemian Cafe.

Barclay Lynn, 39, of San Francisco, said she and a friend were driving east on Bush when they saw a black SUV driving away from a motorcyclist who had been hit at the intersection of Bush and Fillmore.

"The motorcyclist stood in the intersection trying to signal the driver to stop,'' Lynn said. The SUV then "went speeding ... on Bush heading west, weaving in and out of traffic.''

The Pilot roared toward the intersection of Bush and California, its windshield caved in, its front and side smashed, according to witnesses.

"I was in my car coming south on Fillmore and the light turned green," said DuWyane Thomas, 29.

"Two seconds after my car was in the intersection I saw the SUV coming 35 or 40 miles an hour and hit the man in the crosswalk. His body was thrown 25 feet," he said. "His body stuck to the grille of the car and was tossed off as the car turned right. If the guy had not turned right I believe this guy would have been run over completely."

The Pilot roared north on Pine, where Bohemian Cafe bartender Fulford and his regulars began to realize something was wrong as they saw people running north, screaming warnings.

"There he is! It's the car! It's coming this way!" witnesses cried.

An ambulance had already arrived to assist the earlier victims, said Bran, one of the Frankie's regulars. It was parked by the island, traffic backing up behind. The Pilot swerved into the bus lane.

"We thought he was going to stop but instead he just stepped on the gas," Bran said. "It didn't matter, regardless of the lights."

With people scrambling to escape its path, the Pilot tore north past the ambulance, sideswiping newspaper boxes and sending them tumbling into the street. As it pulled alongside the restaurant, Fulford looked outside, and his eyes met the driver's.

"He looked at us as he went flying by," he said. "He looked right at us."

The Pilot roared north, then turned west on California Street, striking two people in front of the Jewish Community Center of San Francisco on California Street at Presidio Avenue. Their blood remained on the sidewalk later, and a mangled bicycle lay 50 feet farther down the sidewalk.

Security cameras in front of the center captured images of the incident, which happened at 1:12 p.m.

But the driver was still on the loose.

"Moments later, the Pilot roared through a red light and turned left, narrowly missing a man as he crossed the street at California and Spruce.
"It was just by a couple of inches,'' said architect Jeremy Warms. "Then the car came down the opposite way down Spruce and the police converged in on him all at once.''

Warms said the police blocked the man's path and he heard a crashing sound -- police said one officer was slightly injured in the collision. Then the officers pulled the man out of the car and sat him down on the curb.

"He looked calm and pretty clean-cut, like a normal guy,'' Warms said. "He sat on the pavement for a good 25 minutes ... I don't think anyone said anything to him. They put him in a police car and took him away.''

The office manager at a dental office at 500 Spruce St., who identified herself only as Kira, saw the arrest from a second-floor window.

"They dragged him out and put him on the ground. They got him up. He was absolutely indifferent, no fear, no expression. He was like a zombie.''

She said he was bald, with a mustache, wearing a gray sport jacket. He showed no sign of injury. Police identified him as Omeed Aziz Popal, 29, of Fremont, and said he would be booked on 14 counts of attempted murder.

In addition to the man killed in Fremont, several in San Francisco remained hospitalized, two in serious or critical condition. But others were fortunate, including Jesse, a young man who walked out of San Francisco General Hospital at 4:30 p.m., a smile splitting the slight beard on his face.

"I'm lucky to be alive," he said. "Life's good." "

"Dear Dr. Schmidt,

Recently I sent you information on two films featured at the Sundance Film Festival. One, "Hounddog," featured a scene where a 12-year-old girl was raped. The other film, "Zoo," was about a man having sex with a horse.

AFA has learned that your tax dollars were used to support the Sundance Film Festival. The National Endowment for the Arts gave between $100,000 and $249,000 to help underwrite the festival, and the Public Broadcasting System (PBS) gave between $50,000 and $99,999.

The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) gets millions of dollars to support "art." A few years ago the NEA helped fund a crucifix submerged in urine and named "Pis- Christ." NEA has sponsored similar "art" projects with tax dollars.

PBS gets tax funding from The Corporation for Public Broadcasting. Every other non-profit broadcasting station must raise their own funds, but CPB and PBS are funded with hundreds of millions of tax dollars. PBS is probably the most liberal network in America. Hollywood has hundreds of millions of dollars to underwrite the cost of the Sundance Film Festival, but they would rather use your tax dollars than their own money. Together, these two organizations provided upwards of $350,000 of tax money to the film festival.

The arts community annually gets over a billion dollars from private sources to finance their art. Yet they still go to Congress to ask for receive, millions of tax dollars. And the receive it.

What did the taxpayer get for his money? Click here to see part of the letter I sent you earlier about the Sundance Film Festival.

Take Action
Send emails to your two U.S. Senators and Representative concerning this issue. Ask your Senators and Representatives to stop providing tax dollars to support the National Endowment for the Arts and PBS. Let these two organizations be funded with public donations, not tax dollars.

If you think our efforts are worthy, would you please support us with a small gift? Thank you for caring enough to get involved.

Top 10 Reasons Islam Might Not Be a Religion of Peace
Written by Don Feder
Thursday, August 31, 2006

A passenger revolt occurred on a Malaga-Manchester flight. Vacationing Brits refused to fly with two Arabic-speaking men. This came in the wake of arrests of 21 British-born Muslims who were plotting to blow up as many as 11 trans-Atlantic flights.

A spokesman for Britain’s opposition Tory party said the passengers panicked into “behaving irrationally.” Fancy that, not wanting to fly with members of a faith whose adherents keep trying to blow things up. Oh, how irrational!

Within days of this incident, a Lebanese student was arrested for trying to plant bombs on German trains. In India, meanwhile, a group with alleged ties to al-Qaeda threatened to blow up the 17th century Taj Mahal.

If Muslims make travelers nervous, it’s not without cause.

Would you be more likely to have an anxiety attack at 20,000 feet if the passenger seated next to you was: A) An Irish nun saying the Rosary? B) A Mormon missionary in regulation white shirt and narrow, black tie? C) A Hari Krishna in a standard-issue saffron robe? or D) A bearded bloke of Middle Eastern complexion holding a well-thumbed Koran?

When you hear of a terrorist incident, is the first thought that pops into your head: Probably some crazy Muslim? Guess what? It probably was some crazy Muslim!

Guessing the religion of those who plant bombs, highjack planes, fire into crowds of civilians, take hostages, and murder hostages is the world’s ultimate no-brainer.

And yet our leaders, the media, and many of us pretend there’s absolutely no connection between psychopathic, ideological killers and the religion which exalts the slaughter of unbelievers.

To counter confusion here, a la Letterman, I humbly offer The Top 10 Reasons Why It’s Quite Possible That Islam Isn’t Exactly a Religion of Peace.

#1 While it’s certainly true that not all Muslims are terrorists, it’s equally true that most terrorists are Muslims.

Think about the really ghastly terrorist incidents over the past two decades: the 1983 Beirut Marine barracks bombing (242 dead), the 1988 Pam Am 103 bombing (259 dead), the 1993 World Trade Center attack (6 dead, more than 1,000 injured), the 1994 bombing of the Buenos Aires Jewish Center (86 dead), the 1998 bombing of U.S. embassies in Nairobi and Dar es Salaam (291 dead, 5,000 wounded), the 2000 attack on the U.S.S. Cole (17 dead), September 11, 2001 (over 3,000 killed), the 2002 Moscow theater hostage-taking (94 dead), the 2004 Beslan school hostage crisis (344 dead), the 2004 Madrid train bombings (192 dead), the 2005 London underground bombings (56 dead) and the 2006 commuter train bombings in Mumbai--formerly Bombay--(at least 200 dead).

In each and every case, the killers were …? That is correct, sir: Muslims! What other religion condones savagery committed in its name? Jesus said turn the other cheek. Muhammed said cut off the other guy’s cheek. The Torah says show kindness to strangers. The Koran says: If you can’t convert them, kill them.

#2 Muslims don’t play well with other children. Wherever there’s religious bloodshed anywhere in the world, it’s invariably Muslims versus someone else. Could this be a coincidence?

Israel, Gaza and Lebanon – Muslims verses Jews. Kashmir – Muslims vs. Hindus. Kosovo/Bosnia – Muslims vs. Serbian Orthodox. Nigeria, the Sudan – Muslims versus Christians. Indonesia – Muslims vs. Christians. Myanmar – Muslims vs. Buddhists. The Northern Caucuses– Chechen Muslims against Russia Orthodox, and so on.

Inquiring minds want to know why the “religion of peace” can’t behave peaceably with any other religion.

Answer: Islam remains what it was at its beginning 1,300 years ago: a violent, expansionist faith that will tolerate no competitors. What other religion has the concept of jihad (holy war) – the notion that if you die fighting for Allah you get 72 virgins (exhausting as that must be) in Paradise? Muhammed started by eliminating the competition – annihilating Jewish tribes in the Arabian Peninsula. More than a millennium latter, it’s still business as usual for his successors.

3. For Muslims, violence and threats of violence are always the first resort to any perceived insult or injury.

Recall the Muslim response to Danish cartoons of their beloved prophet. The Danish embassy in Beirut was burned to the ground. There were death threats against the cartoonists and the editors of papers that published the cartoons. (In London, protestors held signs proclaiming “Those who insult Islam should die” and “Europe is a disease. Islam is the cure.”)

In rioting in Nigeria, Libya, Pakistan, and Afghanistan, 139 died. Protestors were particularly offended by the implication of the cartoons – that Muhammed and his religion encourage murder and mayhem. The irony of “They say Islam promotes violence? For that they should die!” was lost on demonstrators.

4. Islam is virulently anti-Semitic.

Jews have been described as the miner’s canary of the world. Those who start with the Jews never stop there. The 20th century’s mass murderers--the Nazis and communists--saw Jews as a special threat. Hitler killed 6 million Jews--as well as millions of non-Jews.

The Koran connects genocide to the end times: “The last hour will not come before the Muslims fight the Jews and the Muslims kill them, so Jews will hide behind stones and trees and the Stone and the tree will say ‘O Muslim, ‘O servant of God! There is a Jew behind me; come and kill him.’” Muhammed called Jews “the descendants of apes and pigs.”

Every anti-Semitic canard in history has currency in the Muslim world, including the Blood Libel (that Jews murder non-Jewish children and use their blood to bake Passover matzo) and The Protocols of the Elders of Zion (“exposing” a Jewish conspiracy to subdue humanity).

Jew-hatred is a staple of Muslim rhetoric.

In a recent interview with the Egyptian weekly Al-Ahram, Gen. Hamid Gul (former head of Pakistani Intelligence) said Mel Gibson was right, “Jews cause all the wars.” Egyptian Mufti Sheikh Ali Gum’a says the war in Lebanon once again exposed the “Hebrew entity” (Israel) as “the bloodsuckers… who prepare matzos from human blood.” In Britain, popular Islamic cleric Sheikh Abdullah el-Faisal (a Jamaican convert) tells audiences “Jews should be killed… as by Hitler.”

When he met John Paul II in 2001, Syrian President-for-Life Bashar Assad told the pontiff that the Jews "try to kill all the principles of divine faith with the same mentality of betraying Jesus and torturing him."

And Adb al-Rahman al-Sudais, sheikh of Mecca’s Grand Mosque, in Islam’s holiest city, calls Jews “the scum of the earth,” and calls for the genocide of a people who are, in the sheikh’s words, “an ongoing continuum of deceit, obstinacy, licentiousness, evil and corruption.”

Muslims really have a hard time deciding whether the Holocaust: 1) Never happened 2) Is grossly exaggerated or 3) Didn’t go far enough.

#5 – Public Opinion in the Muslim World Is Scary.

Muslim public opinion can be summarized as acid hatred, chauvinism and revenge fantasies--leavened with paranoia. In the five years since 9/11, polls consistently show that, irrefutable evidence to the contrary notwithstanding, worldwide, a majority of Muslims believe the World Trade Center attack couldn’t possibly have been committed by Arab Muslims.

Naturally, they attribute the crime to “Zionists.” If someone wrote a book titled “How to Fly a Plane Into a Skyscraper Whilst Using Human Blood to Bake Matzos: A Zionist Training Manual,” it would top the Tehran Bestsellers List.

#6 –Generally, the more Muslim a nation, the more lunatic and dangerous it is.

Think Iran. Think Saudi Arabia. Think Afghanistan while the Taliban was in power.

Think of the fate of women in these regimes--consigned to the status of breeding stock. Think of their attitudes toward democracy, civil liberties and minority rights: No way, Jamal.

As a rule, the more a nation is governed by Islamic law and customs, the more it hates the West, supports terrorism (Iran’s support for Hezbollah, Syria's support for Hamas, Al Qaeda training camps in Taliban Afghanistan. Radical mosques in the United States financed by the Saudis), and covets weapons of mass jihad (witness Iran’s nuclear program).

If Islam is the religion of peace, where is its St. Francis of Assisi, Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Jr., and Mother Teresa? Where are the Islamic equivalents of the Quakers and Jehovah’s Witnesses?

Far from making rulers more enlightened, Islam specializes in the mass production of Ayatollah Khomeinis, Osama bin Ladens, Mullah Omars, Hafez Assads, and Saddam Husseins.

#7 – When a young Muslim becomes more involved with his religion, his thoughts often stray to suicide bombing.

I was in London when the latest terrorist conspiracy went down. On the evening news, I heard a BBC reporter interviewing a neighbor of one of the suspects. “He was a good lad,” the neighbor opined. “Played football” (British soccer). “Recently, he became very involved with his religion” (hint: not the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints).

How often have we heard those fatal words? Born-again Christians witness and do good works. Born-again Muslims work with liquid explosives.

Converts to a cause are usually the most enthusiastic. Paul became Christianity’s first missionary and foremost proselytizer.

Converts to Islam frequently end up shooting total strangers (John Muhammad and Lee Malvo), try to detonate planes with explosives in their shoes (Richard Reid), fight against their country (American Taliban John Walker Lindh), and frag fellow GIs (Hassan Akbar ). When was the last time you heard of a Jewish convert going after civilians with a high-powered rifle, or a Catholic convert waging jihad to avenge Thomas Moore?

Religion usually makes people better (kinder, more compassionate, and more tolerant). The religion of peace is the exception to the rule. You might say that Islam is to religion as rap is to music.

#8 – Islam isn’t minority friendly.

In Freedom House’s 2006 Global Survey, of the eight countries with the worst human rights records, five are Muslim: Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Libya, Syria and Sudan. The other three--Cuba, North Korea and Burma--are communist dictatorships. Cuba and North Korea are frequently aligned with radical Muslim regimes.

Which would you rather be: a Muslim living in Tel Aviv or a Jew living in Tehran? A Coptic Christian in Egypt or an Egyptian Muslim in Rome? An Orthodox Serb in Muslim Kosovo or a Turk in Germany?

Islam has the concept of the dhimmi (non-Moslem living under Islam), which is several steps below blacks in the Jim Crow South--though slightly better than Jews in Nazi Germany.

#9 – Where Have All the Moderate Muslims Gone--Long Time Passing?

If suicide bombers are radical Muslims, apologists for suicide bombers must be moderate Muslims. (In a letter to Tony Blair following the unraveling of the latest plot, 40 Muslim community leaders--including six members of Parliament--claimed Britain’s foreign policy gave “ammunition to extremists.”)

If someone slaughtered hundreds of innocents in the name of Christianity, everyone from the Pope and Billy Graham to your parish priest or local pastor would denounce the crime as an obscenity--without reference to the fall of Constantinople.

Hardly a day goes by that evil isn’t perpetrated in the name of Islam somewhere in the world. When it comes to denouncing same, moderate Muslims are mostly AWOL.

Occasionally, we’ll hear from a Muslim not mired in the Dark Ages. Usually, they’re wondering where all of the other moderate Muslims are. One is Irshad Manji, a fellow at Yale University and the author of “The Trouble With Islam Today: A Muslim’s Call for Reform in Her Faith.”

Ms Manji can author such a book while safely ensconced in New Haven. If she wrote a book suggesting--or even hinting--that Islam is less than perfection, while residing anywhere in the Muslim world, she’d be dead. In fact, in many parts of the Islamic world, a woman can get in serious trouble for reading a book.

# 10 – Islam is bent on global conquest.

“Islam isn’t in America to be equal to any other faiths, but to become dominant. The Koran … should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on earth.” – Omar Ahmad, founder of the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR).

“Islam will return to Europe. The conquest need not necessarily be by the sword. Perhaps we will conquer these lands without armies. We want an army of preachers and teachers who will present Islam in all languages and all dialects.” Dr. Al-Qaradawi, Egyptian-born, Qatar-based spiritual leader of the Muslim Brotherhood.

“The Muslims are required to raise the banner of jihad in order to make the Word of Allah supreme in the world.” -posting on the website of the Islamic Affairs Department of the Saudi government. (These oil-rich fascists control roughly 80% of U.S. mosques.)

“Islam is advancing according to a steady plan, to the point that tens of thousands of Muslims have joined the American army and Islam is the second largest religion in America. America will be destroyed. But we must be patient.” -Saudi Professor Nassar bin Suleiman al-Omar on al-Majd TV.

Within 100 years of Muhammed’s death, Islam had conquered the Middle East and spread across North Africa before it was finally stopped in southern France. Today, due to immigration, one in every 10 Frenchmen is a Muslim and an estimated 50,000 convert to Islam each year.

In Britain, with 1.5 million Muslims, attendance at mosques is higher than at services for the Church of England. Islam is spreading down both coasts of Africa--in Nigeria, Kenya, the Sudan, and Ethiopia--as well as in the Balkans, former Soviet republics, Asia, and the Philippines.

Whether they bury us with swords, explosives, or immigration and procreation, the fate Islam has in store for us is the same.

If you don’t get it, you’re not paying attention. Or, perhaps your religion (liberalism) blinds you to the truth.

Islam is: A) A religion of peace B) A religion of rest in peace C) A religion that leaves you in pieces or D) A religion that wants a piece of what you have now--the rest later?

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. (AP) - Grammy-winning trumpeter Phil Driscoll was sentenced Thursday to a year and a day in prison for using his gospel music ministry in an income-tax evasion scheme.

U.S. District Judge Curtis L. Collier allowed Driscoll 45 days to report to prison and agreed to decide by that March 12 deadline on Driscoll's request to remain free while he appeals his conviction.

The white-haired trumpeter said at the sentencing that he "never intended to take any money from our government, the country that I love."

"I never took a dollar that I didn't sign for," Driscoll said. "The purpose of my life was the gift that God gave me."

Last June, a jury found Driscoll, 58, guilty on charges of conspiracy and tax evasion from 1996 through 1999.

The indictment accused Driscoll and his wife, Lynne, of scheming with Lynne Driscoll's mother, bookkeeper Chris Blankenship, to avoid reporting personal income totaling more than $1 million.

An IRS agent testified at the trial that Driscoll and his wife improperly used his Mighty Horn Ministries to shield the money and evade $128,627 in taxes.

The jury acquitted Lynne Driscoll on the conspiracy count and deadlocked on a tax evasion charge that was later dismissed.

At the end of the sentencing, Phil Driscoll's unpaid tax total was reduced to a range of more than $30,000 but less than $80,000.

Collier did not impose a fine on Driscoll and said no restitution was due.

Driscoll recorded with several pop acts in the 1970s, including Joe Cocker, Stephen Stills, Leon Russell and Blood, Sweat & Tears. He received a Grammy in 1984.

He recorded more than 30 of his own albums of gospel and patriotic music, which he distributes through his ministry and its Web site.

Driscoll performed "America" at the dedication ceremony for Bill Clinton's presidential library in Little Rock, Ark. The judge, who was appointed by the former president, said Clinton was among those who sent him letters on Driscoll's behalf. "

"Margarine was originally manufactured to fatten turkeys. When it killed the turkeys, the people who had put all the money into the research wanted a payback so they put their heads together to figure out what to do with this product to get their money back. It was a white substance with no food appeal so they added the yellow coloring and sold it to people to use in place of butter. How do you like it? They have come out with some clever new flavorings.

DO YOU KNOW...the difference between margarine and butter?

Read on to the end...gets very interesting!

Both have the same amount of calories.

Butter is slightly higher in saturated fats at 8 grams compared to 5 grams.

Eating margarine can increase heart disease in women by 53% over eating the same amount of butter, according to a recent Harv ard Medical Study.

Eating butter increases the absorption of many other nutrients in other foods.
Butter has many nutritional benefits where margarine has a few only because they are added!

Butter tastes much better than margarine and it can enhance the flavors of other foods.

Butter has been around for centuries where margarine has been around for less than 100 years.

And now, for Margarine..

Very high in trans fatty acids.

Triple risk of coronary heart disease.

Increases total cholesterol and LDL (this is the bad cholesterol) and lowers HDL cholesterol, (the good cholesterol)

Increases the risk of cancers up to five fold.

Lowers quality of breast milk.

Decreases immune response.

Decreases insulin response.

And here's the most disturbing fact.... HERE IS THE PART THAT IS VERY INTERESTING!

Margarine is but ONE MOLECULE away from being ! PLASTIC..

This fact alone was enough to have me avoiding margarine for life and anything else that is hydrogenated (this means hydrogen is added, changing the molecular structure of the substance).

You can try this yourself:

Purchase a tub of margarine and leave it in your garage or shaded area. Within a couple of days you will note a couple of things:

* no flies, not even those pesky fruit flies will go near it (that should tell you something)

* it does not rot or smell differently because it has no nutritional value; nothing will grow on it Even those teeny weeny microorganisms will not a find a home to grow. Why? Because it is nearly plas tic. Would you melt your Tupperware and spread that on your toast?

Share This With Your Friends.....(If you want to "butter them up")!"

"The Cornet

vs.

The Trumpet

As far as written music is concerned, the trumpet and cornet are interchangeable. They play in the same key, and usually play identical parts. Often composers, such as Debussy, Rimsky-Korsakov, Vaughan-Williams, and Tchaikovsky, wish to assign separate trumpet and cornet parts in their music (usually three cornet parts and two trumpet parts) in order to display the different characteristics of each instrument. This does not mean that these parts must be played on these instruments, but they should be if they are available to obtain the texture of sound that the composer intended.

The trumpet was the first of the two instruments to evolve, coming from the natural trumpets of the Baroque and Renaissance times. The trumpet's bore diameter (the size of the tubing) remains constant throughout the entire instrument until it reaches the bell. The tubing is also kept as straight as possible in the construction. These two features are very important, because they produce a more open and "bright" sound. Since the 1950's, trumpets have been the dominant instrument in bands and orchestras in America.

The cornet, on the other hand, was developed in the 19th century and was made famous by the cornet virtuoso J.B. Arban of France. His style, phrasing, and technique helped to give the cornet a role as premiere melody instrument along side the flute and violin. For this reason, when both cornet and trumpet parts are called for in a piece of music, the cornet part usually contains most of the technique and flair while the trumpets keep rhythm and fanfares. The tubing on a cornet, as opposed to a trumpet, increases in diameter as the overall length increases (this is called "conical"). The tubing is also wound more compactly, and therefore is not as "free-blowing" as a trumpet. This means that when the player plays, he will feel a slight increase in resistance from the air having to take extra turns in the tubing. As a result of these two factors, the cornet has a more mellow sound than the trumpet. This sound is often called for in many military marches, such as those by Fillmore or Sousa.

The modern cornet is not nearly as mellow as those produced in the 1800's. The primary reason for this was the redesign of cornet mouthpieces by Vincent Bach, to compete with the trumpet in the 1940's and 50's. Older cornet mouthpeices are "V" shaped, instead of having a round cup. This produced a very mellow sound, and many leading orchestral principals still try to play on an old cornet and mouthpeice to obtain the more mellow sound. The problem with old cornet mouthpeices is that they are difficult to play at high dynamic levels or in the upper register, so often it is necessary to switch to a more modern trumpet-like mouthpiece

Old cornets also have a "Shepherd's Crook" in the base of the bell. This bend also helps to give the cornet its wonderful round, dark sound, but has unfortunately been removed from many cornets today. Just now, some manufacturers are re-introducing the "crook" into their construction.

In order to hear what a good cornet sound is, try to seek out good British brass band recordings. Britian is one of the few places that have held on to the old cornet sound, and continues this great tradition of the cornet. "

"Cleaning your trumpet or cornet

So, you just bought a used, pre-1970 Conn trumpet or cornet? Congratulations! I am sure it will give you years of enjoyment. But it would be nice to thoroughly clean it, right? Or if the vendor did that, to at least check some things. Read on.

Before I say anything else, in case of the following go see a qualified brass instrument repairman:

Stuck mouthpiece, slides, valves, valve caps.
Don't try to do this yourself, you will only cause damage to the instrument. A qualified brass repairman will have both experience and tools to do this with. Whatever you do, DO NOT use pliers.
Dents
Qualified brass repair people have special equipment to deal with dents. They use small metal (steel?) balls of different sizes connected to a wire which they insert into the instrument and carefully tap the dent "out". As far as I know they will first start with a small ball, and switch to increasingly larger balls.
Spit valves need new cork or have broken springs
A repairman should be able to replace the cork on the spit valves very easily. As far as the springs in the spit valves go, this is a fiddly job. You don't want to do this yourself, let the repairman do it.

Now that we have that out of the way, we can get on with cleaning the instrument. Let me start by saying that this is the way I do it. What follows works for me, and I am pretty sure that it is safe. I am not saying this is the only way or the best way to do it. DISCLAIMER: I do not accept any responsibility if you damage your instrument. If in doubt, go see a qualified brass repairman.

What are we going to need to clean the instrument:

Roll of paper towels
Box of cotton swabs. Try to get some long ones (5"-6", the longer the better) in addition to the "regular" ones which are 3" or so long. The long ones make it easier to get into hard to reach places such as the leadpipe.
A small bowl of water. I use this to wet the tips of the cotton swabs.
A container large enough to hold your instrument. The objective here is to soak the instrument a while to loosen the crud somewhat.
Valve oil
Slide grease; it is safest to use specialized slide grease which should be available from a brass instrument dealer or repairman. Vaseline will work too, but be sure that it is non-acidic. In my experience vaseline is a bit thinner than "official" slide grease. You might want to use the specialized/heavy slide grease for slides that are light and easy to move, and vaseline for slides that are heavy to move.
When I clean an instrument this way I usually use a couple of sheets of paper towel (4 or 5 or so). As for the cotton swabs, it depends on how dirty the instrument is. A relatively clean instrument can take 5 to 10 (regular) cotton swabs. On a really dirty instrument I have used up to half a box of (regular) cotton swabs (50 or so). If you can get the really long ones (you might want to ask your pharmacy for these) you might need 4 or 5 of these in addition to the regular ones.

You can buy trumpet/cornet cleaner sets, consisting of a sponge-like ball attached to a string/wire to clean the inside of the tubing. I don't like to use those, because many Conn trumpets/cornets have a smaller bore than is normally the case these days (the #1 bore). I have had one of these things get stuck in my leadpipe once, the repairman had to burn it out with a hot metal rod. Disassembling the leadpipe turned out to be useless since many/most Conn trumpets and certainly cornets have an inner leadpipe in addition to the outer leadpipe. Not fun.

Start by taking the instrument completely apart. Remove all the slides, valves and bottom valve caps. When removing the valves, keep in mind that the valves are probably not numbered, and they aren't interchangeable. Therefor it is a good idea to have some kind of order in the way you put them down. I always put them down on seperate sheets of paper towel with the slide for that valve on the same paper towel. Since the slides are easily recognizable you can't get confused which valve goes where. If you do forget which valve goes where you will have to try to figure it out by trial and error. Also, they might not fit comfortably in the wrong valve casing since each valve has a wear pattern for its individual valve casing. You can put the bottom valve cap with it's valve. These are interchangeable (or should be), but why take the risk? If your instrument has bottom springs, there will be springs (coils) in the bottom valve caps. These springs aren't attached to the bottom valve caps, so take care not to lose them. If your instrument has top springs the spring will be in the valve assembly itself. Don't disassemble the valve assembly, it's too complicated and not necessary.

Next fill your container with luke warm water and put your instrument and the slides in the container. Preferably the instrument should be completely submerged. Don't put the valves in (here you will have to remember which valve is which). Leave the instrument soaking for at least 30 minutes. As I said before, the point is to loosen the crud a bit. Using warm water is probably more effective than cold water, but on the other hand I don't like to use very warm water because of the possible shock to the metal. Never know what that might do to corrosion on the instrument. You might hear or think about adding some kind of soap or other cleaning agent to the water. I avoid doing this because not all soaps/agents agree with brass instruments; especially you need to avoid abrassives, non-clear and scented detergents. Plus, we are dealing with instruments made before 1970. Chances are there is some corrosion somewhere on the instrument. Adding soap or another cleaning agent might aggravate the corrosion. Hence: clean warm water. Nice and safe.

While that is soaking, we can tend to the valves. Chances are the inside of the "holes" in the valve will be pretty dirty. If not, this instrument may actually have been maintained well. Take a (regular size) cotton swab, dip it in water and clean the inside of the holes on the valves. These holes are where the air travels through when playing the instrument. Don't be surprised if the cotton swabs come off black. I also like to clean the inside of the bottom valve cap. This is where the oil eventually settles, and it will probably be filthy. It might be hard to get this totally clean, but that isn't necessary as long as the worst of the dirt is gone. Also check the bottom of the valves. When you are finished, check the valves to make sure there aren't any "cotton swab hairs" (for lack of a better term) clinging to the valves. This is a disadvantage of using cotton swabs.

When the instrument has soaked in its tub long enough, take it out and drain all the water. You might need to put the main tuning slide back on and carefully blow to do this. Remember that it's full of water, so it will be heavy to blow out. Drain and reassemble all the slides. Be careful doing this, because they aren't greased now of course. Never force anything. Temporarily reinsert the valves into the valve casing and screw them down. Depending on the type of valve you have it will either only go in one way, or you will have to twist it around until you hear a click. If you can't blow air through the instrument with any of the valves up or down, there is a mistake in the sequence of the valves. For the next step it helps if you have a shower head which comes off the wall (with a hose! as is common in Europe), but any beaker will do. Run/pour cold or luke warm water down the bell. After a few seconds it should start coming out of the leadpipe. Just let it run for a minute. Then stop the water and carefully blow the water out by blowing through the leadpipe. This will be heavy, but don't force it too hard. Chances are you will see dirt run out. Repeat the entire procedure several times, and also press down the valves (all at the same time or one by one) while letting the water run in/through. In my experience the water won't run through if you hold down all the valves. Proceed to the next step when you are satisfied you won't get any more dirt out (don't think you got everything though!).

Take the valves out of their casings again and put them back on your paper towel, in sequence. Inspect them to see there isn't any dirt clinging to them, since we just ran water through the instrument to clean it out. This can't be avoided, but it shouldn't be too bad. If there is dirt there, take a cotton swab and remove it. Check for bits of cotton swab on the valves again when done. You won't need to do anything more to the valves now, so put them aside (always in sequence!). Also remove the bottom valve caps and slides again and put everything on paper towels. The instrument is going to be dripping wet, so put something under it.

Next take each slide, dip a cotton swab in water and poke it down the inside of the slide (tube), cleaning the inner walls. Considering the length of regular size cotton swabs, you won't be able to reach all the way down on the 3rd valve slide or the main tuning slide. This is where a long cotton swab comes in handy. If you don't have any: too bad. Don't use pliers or anything like that to extend your reach down the tube, you will just damage or scratch things. It's not worth it. Don't push too hard against the bottom of the shorter slides. You shouldn't be able to go through it, but pushing harder to get more dirt off won't work. Either the dirt will come off easily, or it won't at all. The top of the main tuning slide might well feel a bit rough on the inside. There's nothing you (or anyone) can do about that either, just leave it (same goes for the inside of the mouthpiece). Also clean the unlacquered (probably brown) areas of the slide that go inside the opposing end. The color of the muck that comes off the inside of the slides (and the same thing goes for the tubes on the body of the instrument which we will do later) on the cotton swab tells you something about what it is: black is filth. Green is corroding copper (you will probably see a little of this; don't worry about it). Red is "red rot" or "dezincification". This is when the zinc goes out of the copper-zinc alloy which is brass. This red rot can work from the outside in (reddish spots on the outside) or from the inside out (which is what this is). Red rot will eventually become holes, but the process is very slow and may take many, many years. There is nothing you can do about it, except keep the instrument clean which slows the process down and keep in mind that it is a weak spot. When you are done with the slides, put them aside.

Next, take the body of the instrument. Using cotton swabs clean the inside of all the tubes you can reach (this is where long cotton swabs come in handy). The inside of the leadpipe will probably feel rough, there's nothing that can be done about that. Don't try to scrape the rough bits off. Give the insides of the valve casings a good swipe with cotton swabs, especially the bottom inch. This is where dirt tends to collect. One of the principal causes of slow and sticking valves is dirt at the point where tubes enter the valve casing. Using a cotton swab you should just be able to reach those, at least parts of them. Again, if you can't get at it, don't force it, don't use any tools except cotton swabs. I usually run a rolled up/twisted paper towel through each valve casing when I am done to make sure it is dry and there are no bits clinging to the side. When all this is done you should have a nice stack of dirty cotton swabs.

That should take care of all of the cleaning of the inside of the instrument. If you have the time, you might want to leave your instrument to air for a while, giving it a chance to dry out properly. The next step is to grease the slides and reinsert them. Make sure you cover the entire sliding part. I always grease one "leg" of the slide, insert that leg where it's supposed to go and twist to distribute the grease. Then I insert the ungreased leg into the same tube, twist it around and take it out again. Then I put the slide back in properly. Repeat for all slides. Next put the bottom valve caps back on. Then oil each valve and reinsert it into its proper valve casing (remember the sequence). Depending on the type of valve you have it will either only go in one way, or you will have to twist it around until you hear a click. You can check that you did things correctly with the valves by blowing through the instrument: if air is blocked (completely or partially) at any time, there's a mistake somewhere in the valves. One way to check for proper valve alignment is to take off the slides (1st and 2nd, the 3rd slide will probably be too deep to see into), push down the valve and see if the holes in the valve lign up properly with the slides. To do this the valve must be screwed down completely. You shouldn't be able to see any of the outside of the valve itself when it is pushed down. If you do, the valve is either in the wrong casing or it is twisted the wrong way. Incidentally, this is also a good way to check the build quality of new instruments: if the outside of the valve is showing, performance is being hampered and the valves need to be aligned. I have yet to see a pre-1970 Conn with this problem.

Done. You may want to tidy the outside up a bit too. Use a soft cloth to wipe it down. Never use cleaners. To clean a mouthpiece, you could try soaking it in water for a while and then clean out the inside with a pipe cleaner or a cotton swab, or by inserting and twisting around a rolled up paper towel. There is nothing you can do to remove the roughness, or "specks" on the inside. I don't know what the consistency of these is, but they are hard as concrete.

If any or all of the valves run smoothly when you aren't playing but hang a bit when you are playing, several things could be "wrong". The main symptom of this is usually that when the valve is "pushed" in a certain direction when pressed down, it comes up slowly. There can be a number of causes. First, check to make sure the valve, the valve casing and the valve ports (tubes running into or out of the valves) are clean. Sometimes the valves have to "wear in" to the way your hand is positioned over the valves (or perhaps vice versa?). You won't be able to see anything on the valve itself in the way of wear marks (other than those already present). This process shouldn't take more than a few weeks, depending on how much you play. This is assuming of course that the valves and valve casings are straight and not dented. If that is the case you have a bigger problem and chances are the valves do more than just stick a bit. Sometimes the top spring mechanism is a bit "off". What happens, as far as I can tell, is that when the metal pin and the pin guide (a plastic disc with a hole in it) are at an angle to each other, they don't run past each other smoothly. Not sure yet what to do about that.

It might be a good idea to take the slides and valves out after a week or so and clean those areas out with cotton swabs again. Sometimes the clean oil and grease loosens dirt after a while. I find the best way to keep a mouthpiece clean is to rinse it out with cold water when you are finished playing at the end of the day."

My understanding of salvation, as revealed by God in His inspired word, is that we are all sinners on the way to the lake of fire and annihilation. Jesus Christ died in our place so that we would have the opportunity to escape eternal death and receive the free gift of eternal life. Even though salvation is free, we have to fulfill a condition. We must repent of our sins (lawbreaking (1Jhn. 3:4)), submit to Him as Lord, and obey His Ten Commandment Law, which is the foundation of righteousness. God will not allow anyone in heaven who will not obey Him. Since Jesus Christ is the only name under heaven given to mankind through Whom we will receive the free gift of eternal life (Acts 4:12), there is no other religion that can save us.

The Law cannot save anyone. Salvation only comes through the fact that Jesus shed His blood in our place. He suffered our punishment so we would not have to. Salvation is offered as a free gift. We can do nothing to earn it. We must, however, fulfill the condition of repenting of our sins, submitting to Him as Lord, and obeying His Ten Commandment Law.

Salvation is free. Repentance, submission to Jesus as LORD, and obedience to His Ten Commandments is a condition we must meet. Think of it this way: Suppose your rich uncle said he would give you a million dollars if you would quit smoking for a year. Your uncle earned the million dollars. Quitting smoking is a condition. The money is free if you fulfill the condition. Quitting smoking will never “earn” you a million dollars.

Here are some verses that seem to support my understanding of salvation:

“If you wish to enter into life, keep the commandments” (Matthew 19:17).

“Repent (and each of you be baptized) in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit” (Acts 2:38).

“The mind set on the flesh is hostile toward God; for it does not subject itself to the law of God, for it is not even able to do so…However, you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. But if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him” (Romans 8:7,9).

“He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him” (John 3:36[NASB]).

“He became to all those who obey Him the source of eternal salvation” (Hebrews 5:9).

So it seems that we can conclude that IF WE WOULD ENTER ETERNAL LIFE, WE MUST REPENT OF OUR SINS, SUBMIT TO JESUS CHRIST AS LORD, AND OBEY HIS TEN COMMANDMENT LAW. If we do not obey Him, He is not our Lord. If He is not our Lord He cannot be our Savior.
