Took the Czech girls out to the range today for some discipline.

Setup targets at 25ft using pieplates w\red sticky dots for a focal point. No problem hitting the plates, plenty in the 2" dot, but both seemed to shoot left. This could be my fault since anytime I shoot anything with open sights, I hit left.

One of the mags has a little dent which caused some feed problems...I'll try to fix that one.

The FIOCCHI FMJ 73gr worked perfectly as did the UMC FMJ 73gr...but it seemed as though the FIOCCHI provided more consistant groupings...I've heard S&B works good in these, but the local shop dint have none...I'll try the next gun show.

The old Czech gals didn't look so purty when exposed to the light of day [lots of sunshine around here today]..the bluing is a bit thin on the slides and barrels. The bore though, is very nice with crisp rifling.

Another observation was trigger slap...each had a little bit, but it seemed more apparent on one them. Maybe it's normal. There's not alot of recoil and they are fun to shoot.

Do any of you guys know how old the CZ50 are? When they were produced? Just curious...there is something to be said for a firearm that was designed well enough to continue to function flawlessly for several decades after production.

Anyway...that's about it for the Czech report.
