Great report. Yeah you certainly can't beat the price. The CZ's were made for the Czech police and date from the 1950's. About midway thru this page there's a nice writeup on them:

Actually the CZ50 is still in use as the CZ70 which is identical in design with a few excetions in things like the grips.

AIM has the S&B ammo for $6.95 per 50. I just ordered some of the German stuff they have for $5.95 per 50. I'll post a report when I try some out.

Marstar is a cheap source for mags. It takes them about a month to mail them from Canada but they are the cheapest I've found. They list them under the Vsor 50.
