Well that did happen Calvin, back in October1980 I think because I saw them support The Police in Portland Oregon. I was on a school exchange visit for a month going to a school in Lake Oswego. Life really didn't get much better than when I realised The Beat would be supporting The Police two of my fave bands at the time! Being sweet sixteen the screams reached fever pitch. I went, it was great, can picture it now. Later on in the visit Mount St Helen's blew and we all had to wear masks to school. What a trip!
Regards Sal ( no longer sixteen but still very sweet)
