Subject: Stand down Margaret/Tony.... Discuss.

Having seen the Beat on a few occasions over the past few months - I have heard them do an updated version of Stand Down Margaret, now known as, Stand Down Tony.

I am a Tony supporter - he has been a very good P.M in his years in office (apart from the mistake of backing Bush to war) and, FACT, is the most succesful PM of modern times.

I was wondering if they are simply just wanting to do a classic, very good song. Or, they really want Tony to stand down (and maybe get that gibbering dinosaur Michael Howard in charge - Noooo!!)??

If they don't back what the song means, maybe they should not do it.

Any views on this?
