Just to start the ball rolling, I'm gonna go for "Reinveinting Axl Rose" by Against Me! I'm sure you've noticed me mention them before, and I know a few of you already know it, but if you don't, have a listen. You might be pleasantly surprised. For me, this song pretty much sums up what music is about, or at least what it should be about. Musically I imagine it's not to everyone's taste, but I for one like the folk tinged punk flavour.

If you can, listen to the version on the accoustic 7", but if not the version from the album on No Idea, also entitled "Reinventing Axl Rose" will do just as well.
