can of worms eh? funny how these things go completely off topic isn't it! anyway, yeah, i can see where kevin's coming from and i kinda agree, but i think i'm an atheist, so i don't think that one's for me. i think harry and tofty hit it on the head for me, it's all about friends.

the thing is, it's very easy to say what punk ISN'T, but i reckon it's a lot harder to say what it actually is. attitude is definitely a major factor though, to me it's all about people. i reckon a lot of gigs have lost a lot of that attitude (i'm talking leeds more than hull really here) 'cos there's such a big scene, everyone goes off into their own little groups and never talk to each other. you get one set of people going to hardcore gigs, one to all the old school gigs and so on. that's what i really like about hull, there's not all that many people, but the ones that there are are all friendly and lets be honest, pretty much everyone goes to every gig, 'cos that's all there is!
