Hornblower stood next to Link as three more Drakins flew down to join the few that Raistlin had managed to injure. He saw that Link held his sword like an old pro and he didn't have any doubt that the kid could take care of himself. He turned back to the monsters and swung at one with his cutlass, aiming for the head, as his sword breaker went low at the creature's chest.
Miguel ran after Raistlin and, now that the man was unconscious, picked him up again and carried him swiftly into the captain's cabin, setting him on the bed built into the wall, the only one on the ship. Sira was startled at their entrance, but she continued to sit on the table next to the seeker, because Link had told her not to go anywhere. There was nothing Miguel could do for Raistlin at the moment; he was a performer, not a doctor; he had no idea what ailed the man besides the fact that his leg was broken.
Tired of hovering in the air, many of the Drakins clung to the main mast or perched on the top sails, watching the fight down below them. Being in the negative energy zone did nothing to the weather, and the sea began roiling and churning, and dark clouds hurried enmass over the ship. Lightning rent the sky and thunder crashed loudly. Winds howled through the sails, and the ship lurched dangerously to one side, then the other as it rode the swells of the ocean.
