Sydney's sword hit home on the Drakin, and Raith's attack took it out completely. The other Drakin attacking Sydney, seeing Raith as the bigger problem right now, jumped over the wounded man, claws aiming for Raith's throat.

The monsters perched on the mast watched the fighters intently. One of them saw Rhambirdie clinging to the ship as it heaved in the water, and quickly dove for him, claws outstreatched to rend him appart while he was disoriented.

Two more Drakins saw Link move to defend those in the cabin and targeted him. The took to the air again, being only slightly bothered by the storm winds, and circled around the boy, almost resembling vultures as they grew closer to the deck. One of them suddenly made a dive for his unshielded back, and the other one dove at his front. Between the two attacks, one of them would most likely get in a hit.

The Drakin Hornblower attacked went down under his blades, but another one immediately jumped in to take its place, attacking hard and fast with slashes to his arms in an attempt to disarm him.
