Subject: The current E/T spoiler going around...

As some of you may or may not know there is a spoiler going around saying that Ethan refuses to save Theresa from a fire.

Eric, who plays Ethan now, has stated this is not true. Anyone who has watched Eric post on his board knows how he acts around *true* spoilers. If it were true, he would've said something about how he can't give away storyline spoilers or he'll get in trouble, so for him to flat out say it's not true, you can pretty much take that to the bank.

Also, it's come to my attention that these spoilers have made its way to TVTome. Guess what? TVTome is like IMDB. Anyone can submit those spoilers and say they are true. TVTome has a track record of being about 20% accurate. Give or take a few precentage points. I've seen this place say SMG was re-signing for an 8th season just a few weeks into the new Buffy season. I've seen them have episode titles where episodes weren't even written. I've seen spoilers that were 100% false because of how far in advanced they were given. Just things of that nature.

I just wanted to let you guys know, those who just come to board, etc., that these spoilers are more than likely FALSE with Eric's insistance and the lack of crediability that TVTome has. So, rest assured, unless scripts have changed, the spoilers are still FALSE. Yes, slim possibility, but only if scripts have CHANGED. :)

yep, dont I know it, that TVtome only gets their spoilers from the net, and I know exactly where they got their next two week of spoilers from and they posted it later on today.

And oh well if people dont want to believe Eric, then it means that some friends dont believe our Mercy. She knows the stars personally, most of us dont, the stars are her buddy's too. And she is smart, being her friend means believing her judgement or her buddy's on the show. So if I wasnt to believe Eric then I wouldnt be believing our friend that vouches for her buddy.

Why would Eric lie? Why would he make himself look like such a damn fool? There is a certain amount of logic here that isn't being used. Eric's not going to flat out lie because he knows how much that would cost him. It's just blantantly stupid to even entertain such an idea...

Obviously if the rumor had a ring of truth I am sure the man would have said something like "Sorry, can't comment on stories...." or "Watch and see the exctiting twist of this moronic show!"

Someone is not going to out and out go "No truth to that" and then watch as it happens. It's about as much logic as if someone came on and said "I heard you are into Engilbert Humperdink" and he would reply "Not at all!" Is that a lie?

Actually, wouldn't someone reciting the scripts know more than a board?

Right! What moron would believe a board over the actor himself? I don't get that logic. Plz tell me no one is going around saying that this spoiler is true when Eric is saying it isn't. What sense does that make?

Oh well. I guess some ppl would believe just about anything. I certainly don't believe Eric to be a liar, so I'm sure this spoiler isn't true. Besides, when have you guys ever known for Theresa to be in trouble and Ethan not go to her rescue? That's unthinkable!

Very true, Bec. Anyone who has watched and read Eric on his board knows his MO is something like, "I can't comment on that." or "You'll just have to wait to see how it turns out!" Or something to that effect.

And yes, I think someone reading the scripts and acting them out would know more then a board or a place where anyone can add "spoilers". :\

Unfortunately Dee, some people are actually believing TVTome over a person. And why? Simply because the man said, in the beginning, "E/T will get back together." Apparently they consider that a lie. Nevermind that he didn't say, "E/T will get back together in two days" or something like that, he just wanted the E/T fans to hang in there and he was trying to give them some faith. It wasn't a viscious lie or anything. But what can you do? Some people just don't take the time to think about things.

Also there are a lot of inconsistancies within said spoilers. For one thing they say the Lopez-Fitz home burns which, okay JER is cruel, but he usually does different homes for the fire storyline. And I think reliable spoilers say it's going to be Sheridan's cottage. And you're perfectly right, there is no way Ethan would *ever* refuse to save Theresa and if he didn't it would be because of something more important...like his unborn child would be in danger. (Which, if he didn't put that child first, I would be more upset with him.)

And I wonder, when people learn that these spoilers aren't real, are they going to go around apologizing for their words? Hell, if I'm wrong, I'll admit it.

Hahaha!! Some people wondered if the believers of Eric would admit when they were wrong, so my question is... will the doubters of Eric admit when they were wrong? Doubtful. LOL I guess some people enjoy having egg on their face though. :)

Don't forget the sources out there that just swore up and down that this was the true deal.
