Subject: Hate to admit it....but Grace won a few points for me.

I couldn't help but feel some happiness that at least one person in that house had enough character (Pardon the pun) to side with Theresa. Fox hasn't been of much help, standing in the background doing the :\ face. Fox really had no purposes in the scenes period....you get the feeling at times that he's got a bit of the syndrome all the new characters get on this show...tag alongs to the center characters stories.

I know...I know....I can hear the mass screaming of the others and I turn and see their fists pumping madly in the air...but, Fox has NO storyline AT ALL. When you look at it.

What do we know--

1. Fox doesn't like Ethan due to Ethan's being put first his whole life.

2. Fox doesn't do anything but lounge after other characters as merely a tag along. Oh, you're going to the mansion, so will I. Oh, you're going to work, so will I. Oh, you're going to the Bennett's, so will I. Oh, I don't know you're family at all, but I'll come to the hospital all the same if you don't mind.

Interrepretation--A Foil Character.

Look at David....same story.

Oh you're going to the Crane Party...so will I. Oh you're going to the Book Cafe, I will too. Oh, you're going to the Bennett backyard clam bake...me too.

A character that just follows another character around to shadow them, to make a scene somewhat interesting because we can learn through Fox's conversation with Theresa that Theresa is scared. But does Fox serve as any purpose in those scenes?

Not a one.

What we don't know--

1 Fox's previous life...friends, jobs, what's he been doing all this time?

2. Fox's "real" emotions as he just basically has bantered with Theresa but no one else. Sure he says he hates Ethan, yet he also cheers Ethan on when Ivy is dead...so, we have yet to know if Fox really feels that way or is simply following some sort of agenda.

Foxoil welcome to Harmony.

Ah yes, it was nice to see someone was standing up for Theresa, even if it *was* Grace. Whom I don't *hate*, but I don't really care for either.

No one truly stood up for Theresa, aside from Grace. Sure you heard a few, "she's got a point" from different folks, but really, Grace was the only one with guts. Where was this so-called "hero" Fox at?

Which, yes, Fox has done exactly what you say. He follows Theresa. He will always do that. Until the story dictates that he be something more than a mere object she vents to, he is nothing in this storyline.

That said, he's become more and more like David by the minute. First he has a shaddy first scene, not really saying anything about why Harmony means something to him and who he is. But we see he has a reason to come to Harmony, it's later revealed who he is and why he's come to town. He has ties to one of the main couples on the show. The one JER considers his "super couple". And now that he's served the purpose of being the catalyst, he sits around in the background doing nothing but tagging along, just as David did when he stated he was Grace's husband. After that, all he does is tag along.

However, we are soon to know about Fox's buddies. It should be interesting how they are. I'm interested in the conversations and how he'll react to things they'll say like about being a Crane, Ethan, Theresa, etc., etc.

hehe @ foxoil. I like it. :)
