I just got a bagpipe for my birthday and I really want to learn how to play, but for some reason when I try to play the chanter the pitch doesn't change when I cover/uncover different fingering holes. I think the reed is in properly. Also, how much of the reed do I put in my mouth? Does anyone know of any online tutorials that give very detailed information for people that have no clue what they're doing?
Thanks!

Caroline

Hi

Have a look at my website - there is a teach yourself method there. I am happy to give you any advice you may need.

Best wishes,

Lindsay.
