Now that you got your piece of cyberspace for your electronic portfolio you need to do several things... 1. Download an FTP program to transfer files between your PC and the Inter server [Recommended: WS_FTP] 2. When setting your FTP program, use the username and password I sent you to access it. 3. Get an HTML editor (WORD will work) for your work. You can use Composer from Netscape or FrontPage (personally, I do not recommend it). YOu can go to download.com and search for an editor (especially a wysiwyg type). But if nothing else, use Word and save it as a web page or html file. 4. That first page should be named index.html or default.html [prefer the first one] 5. Check Brumi's to give you an idea, but hey... BE CREATIVE AND IMAGINATIVE!! Brumi's portfolio is at http://www.sg.inter.edu/portafolios/brumi/ 6. Attend the lab time before class where Brumi will be more than glad to help you. 7. Once you create that first page, transfer it to your site using the FTP program from step 1. 8. Enjoy this activity. If there is any questions, ask me in class or via this medium or private email.
