其實當時的學生領袖也要負責任,因為他們沒有客觀分析當時情況兼顧全大局,最後導致事情弄至一發不可收拾的地步.

他們事後也承認:如果當年他們是成熟點的話,或許不會導致這個造成大量人命傷亡的悲劇.

從好的方面去看,當年的鎮壓對於穩定國家局勢是很重要的.試想想大部份的核心學生領袖和幹事可在事後有組織地被安排偷渡離境,更有人立即計劃照應他們在海外的生活.這已說明六四事件絕非單純一件學生運動般簡單,更可能涉及跨國政治陰謀.
當然我認同鎮壓,卻堅決反對利用坦克和實彈對抗手無寸鐵的學生.我發誓中國當年一定擁有教練彈和Tear gas等防暴武器.更對袁木的"誠懇言論"感到無盡的憤慨和鄙視.
另一方面,這次事件中全球華人對中國同胞的支持也印證了中國人的團結精神,證明中國人絕非各家自掃門前雪,不管他人瓦上霜.
