The bell rang and assorted groups of men and women poured out of the classrooms of Montblanc academy and into the white and sterile halls therein. They were extremely plain, the halls. Nothing but whiteness and some white lights that hung elegantly. They often swung when the students, ranging from age fourteen to twenty-five, came from their classrooms in a rather interesting spectacle that could not be described by anything other then “Stampede.” The floor seemed incredibly clean for something that was stepped on so much, tiled with white and… well, white. How boring.

The art room was located in the far corner, from which a tall male, standing about six feet and two inches tall, moved from the room, not paying any attention to his course. As he had known his next destination and the proper way of getting there, he need not look up from his work. On the pad of paper he silently drew a beautiful picture of an angel, the male’s wings spanning out and a gentle smile on his face as he held a flower gently between his hands and seemed to watch it in awe.

Not much bothered him, as he thought of what he was drawing. Well, not all of his consciousness was on his angel. He was thinking of the current situation with Hitler and the National socialists. They had already gone to Poland, and taken Austria. France was next on the list, apparently. The Americans were supplying the Allies with necessary equipment for battle, but claiming neutrality. Hitler didn’t like that. Oh well, could be worse. He wasn’t too afraid of it, which was why he wasn’t on his way home with a few of the other students. Hitler didn’t have the balls. He’d just stick it out here, sketching his angel and not looking forward as he walked towards the cafeteria.
