Date Posted: Fri, Dec 17 2004, 17:56:14 In reply to: Walter Livingston 's message, "Life sucks sometimes." on Thu, Dec 16 2004, 17:42:34 The halls were almost blinding, actually, to those who were not accustomed to these bright ivory walls. The lights were annoyingly bright (perhaps installed with intention of just that - to annoy the mostly tired student body) and they stung the boy's eyes, shaking his head so his dark hair fell over his eyes. Not much shelter from the light but anything was better. His small frame slipped between people as he made his way back to where he kept his belongings. Slamming his locker shut after retrieving his books for his next class - math, oh joy - he turned, heading back down the hall, studying his toes as he walked. He knew he looked out of place, a black sheep in a flock of white, and he seemed to be doing his best to hide, not meeting anyone's eyes nor speaking anything. With his sight hindered by those shaggy ebony tresses and his attention far off from where it should be, it was not surprising that he ran into someone. His notebook, along with the other's clattered to the floor, the male stumbling back and losing his balance. Ah, great. Attention was drawn, though the general rush of students carried on, eager to get to next class. [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
