Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne fled their home in terror last night after a fire spread through their living room.

The married couple, stars of reality TV show 'The Osbournes', had been relaxing at their British mansion when the smoke alarm went off.

After checking the detector, Sharon initially thought it had gone off by accident, but after it sounded a second time the 'X Factor' judge checked again to be confronted by flames burning behind wooden panelling on a wall.
She is quoted by Britain's Sun newspaper as saying: "I was lying with Ozzy in his room and the fire alarm went off so we had a check but couldn't see anything.

We reset it and lay back down but within minutes it had gone off again. We went into the living room and saw smoke coming from behind the wooden panelling.

It's believed the fireplace overheated the wooden panelling.
