 The plan was to get rid of Saddam, rebuild, teach them democracy, & let them run the country.

What a minute...Most of Iraqis are either uneducated, or educated with misinformation to outright lies. In their own election, they'd probably vote for a camel, the guy with the biggest gun or knife, the most popular looter, or a fast talking radical religous extremist.

The real plan is to install a puppet government & keep on passing out plenty of magic markers & poster board, & teach everyone to speak & write "We love you Bush".
