>Bush had a year beforehand and Clinton had eight.

Bush had direct and clear warnings that it was coming. And he decided
to take a vacation instead.

Remember, Condi said they thought it would be normal hijackings.
Hmm.....

Seemed to be? We went to war over a "seemed to be"? No, we were
told, repeatedly, that there absolutely were WMDs.

Erring on the side of caution? Bullshit. He started a war, and used
this as a convenient lie to get it started.

I read he was cowering in a toilet trying not to get shot...
But being a Hussein I'm sure that made him a egitimate target anyway -
after all, US soldiers have never ever killed innocent children now,
have they?

>Bush had a year beforehand and Clinton had eight.

And after bin Laden kills 3,000 Americans, Bush has spent billions and
has half the active military occupied, leaving us with only half the
military to actually defend ourselves, has knocked over two countries,
and still Clinton came closer to killing bin Laden with a couple of
cheap rockets than Bush did. Same Republican efficiency we saw in the
Whitewater investigation. Oh I forgot, bin Laden is dead, right,
wasn't that what the righwingnuts were telling us last year?

Instead, we get installment two in the Bush clan's never-ending feud
with Saddam. Can't wait until Episode 3: The Twins, when hereditary
co-presidents Jen and Barb nuke the entire MidEast to try and nail
Saddam. I think the problem is the Bushes keep buying these Acme
Terrorist Catcher devices, and they never work out.

There were plenty of people who thought otherwise. But in
Bushzarroland, being wrong is right and being right is wrong.

Bush gives us false dangers in a dangerous world. Great. Here's some
boogey man stories to tell and retell around the campfire at night

That's true. Thanks to the Bush Administration, it is now clear to all
that Americans will have to be on their guard against assaults on our
persons and our freedoms, from domestic sources and foreign, forever.
No comfort, ever. I'm so grateful.
