According to the official 'publicans point of view (right wing) & official stand on global warming, is that there is no global warming, it was all made up by liberal, tree-hungers, for their political gain decades ago. They claim there is no scientific evidence whatsoever of global warming. They further insist that CO2 does not cause global warming, & there's no evidence that it does (I guess they never heard of Venus).
They claim the world is beginning another "ice age" so some global warming would be good. They also site some areas, including Russia are actually getting a little colder as proof.
I'm sure we'll get plenty of arguements about it. At one point I won't argue, you can't force a blind person to see.
I have the same problem with local politics & the people who vote. Everyone votes for the worst jerks every year, & within a year they're all complaining about who they voted for. WTF did they vote for them for? They don't think or do their research until it's too late & the politician have already done their damage.
There's spin doctors, & the suckers who fall for them.
In our society it seems the spin doctors always win because the worlds full of suckers.
It's commercialism, that's why spam works & is profitable. Come up with a cute slogan, a nice jungle, or a little double-talk & one can sell you garbage. There's a sucker born every second.
And beware, there's plenty of jerks on the left too.
On either side of the fence, you'll find fast, sweet talking guys who could sell you anything, but now they're running for office.
