Subject: Gel Nails Class Aug 30th

It's still not too late to sign-up for the hands-on Gel Nail class being taught by Barb @ Nailsplash on Monday, August 30th, 1999, at 1:00 PM in Chicago! Registration available by phone at 312-321-6809 or on site before class starts at the Chicago O'Hare Marriott (8535 W. Higgins, Chicago, IL*). This class is hands-on, so if you are already doing gels, then bring your system to learn how to use it optimally; If not, Barb will have supplies available to borrow during class so you can get a feel for gels before investing in a system. All students should bring their "normal" manicuring table set-up supplies, such as files, tips, forms, glue, sanitizer, etc. Extension cords and a table light are recommended also.

This class is offered through the Chicago Cosm. Assoc. and is FREE for CCA members! Non-members pay $99 which gets them this class PLUS a years memership in CCA as well as FREE admission to all 3 days of the Midwest Beauty Show each year and other benefits at no additional charge.

This class offers 3 CEU's for Nail Techs and Cosmetologists and is open to all licensed professionals at all skill levels.
Models are not needed, you will work on each other or yourself, so prepare your nails according to how much gel nails firsthand experience you want to get!

*Directions: Located just east of O'Hare airport, on Higgins Rd (Rt 72 is an angle/diagonal rd.), about 6000 North (south of Devon which is 6400 north); just west of Cumberland (AKA Thatcher, First Ave, 8400 west) and just east of East River Rd (8800 west). Hotel is located just off of 90, the Kennedy Expressway; exit Cumberland north and take an immediate left on Higgins, hotel will be on your left less than 2 blocks. Free parking! (From 294 tollway, merge onto 90 EAST toward the city, exit Cumberland North, left on Higgins. Coming from 90-94, take left fork for 90, the Kennedy WEST, and exit Cumberland North, left on Higgins.) If you need further directions, please call the hotel directly. Class location should be the 2nd floor convention/seminar rooms/salons... but check the events board in the hotel lobby to be sure upon arrival!

Please be sure to arrive early to set up your work station, as we will move into hands-on participation very quickly. If you are registering on-site, please arrive by 12:30 at the latest.
