Subject: WE are all Blair fans, but when it comes to opinions on who she is paired with, emotions always run a little high; however, it is important to remember that we can disagree with a modicum of respect for each poster here. I have been lenient in the past, but I will pull any post that denigrates another poster.

We do all love Blair, but the people in Blair's orbit are a completely different story...lol...There will be Blairians who will never understand why other Blairians want her with Todd just like there are Blairians who will never understand why some want her with John. Emotions come out of that inability to understand. Reminds me of when I was T&Ber during the very early days of Spencer Truman, and there were Blairians who wanted that. I would like Blair to have her own house with Addie and her children.
I would like to see Blair running Craze, cuz if I had to sit thru the SPD that got it for her, the least they could do is keep it in her story.
I'd like to see Blair have a storyline about meeting her father.
Being gooey for John? Nope, not even on the list. Being gooey for Todd? Nope, that didn't make my list either. Imagine THAT.

Am I a Blair fan? Yes. I am. She's definitely one of my, if not the most, favorite characters on the show.
But I am a Blair fan who very often cannot stand the decisions Blair makes and the pairings that she gets put in. I have, at times, very much wished that Blair would never know another moment of happiness because I've been so disgusted with her choices on the show. Guess what? I got over it.
I can only speak for me. Dande. I can't speak as a T&Ber or a Blair fan or a Kassie fan or a Leo or a woman or a Californian or meat-eater or a OLTL fan because those are far too broad. And, frankly, when I see anyone start a sentence with 'as a [fill in the blank] I feel this' the insinuation is that 'as a [fill in the blank] my opinion is more valid than yours.'
Well, it's not. One person's opinion is merely that. One person's opinion and while I have been guilty of being appalled at what other Blair fans have wanted for Blair at times when it comes down to it, this sort if brow-beating and casual wrist-slapping for having differing opinions wears on me. It grates.
There are T&Bers out there that I do not agree with in regards to T&B. We don't all want the same thing. We never will. I don't believe in having the couple 'at any cost' and I don't believe in NOT having the couple 'at any cost.'
Everyone's opinion speaks out loudly enough without waving your personal banner with it. I just think it reeks of cliquism and drawing lines, of saying, 'you say you're this but you feel this way so clearly you're not.'
Maybe I'm just getting too old for this shit. I've seen this fanbase splintering long before I came in to the online soap fan world. It blows, it really does because it just never works out well for anyone.
What it comes down to is this: Love what you love, argue and debate and discuss, support what you want to support but remember that everyone's opinion is valid and it doesn't make them any less a fan of something that they love just as much.
