Ted Reader has a glaze for chicken that looks like it would be good on pork also.

1/2 C maple syrup
1/4 C brown sugar
1/4 C bourbon
1/4 C orange juice
salt and pepper to taste
whisk together.

Don't know about bourbon for a 13 year old but you will like it.LOL
