I`m not really familiar with the cooker your talkin about but I have heard them mentioned elsewhere, I`ll go to sobey`s webpage and peek around....

Great deal on the stargrill, thats the stuff I use when I cook with the Big Green Egg.....I never have any trouble with that stuff....
Here at Crappy tire they sell 17 pound bags for 12.99 so you got a good deal...

Jerky...(thanks bbqfan1, ya bugger..lol)
Any of the "round" cuts I like for jerky...top,inside and outside really.
I find them extremly easy to remove the tiny bit of fat thats there.
Also the marinade takes well along with the nice long grain structure in the meat....Its just what I prefer.

That Eye you got should work good for you....what are you going cook (dry) it on?
