Reg:
Is that the one where the sausage/Bisquick mixture goes on the OUTSIDE of the jalapeno? I was reading a couple recipes based on that idea just yesterday; was thinking of trying it at a family gathering today! So, no good, eh? What was the problem? Did you fry em, or bake 'em? Were the jalapenos fresh or whole pickled (I've seen both)?
Came across an interesting one yesterday, for pork pie. The recipe was simply:
- one layer corn chips
- one layer baked beans
- one layer pulled pork
- one layer bbq sauce
- one layer cole slaw.
That was the recipe! Would you heat it? Crush the corn chips to make a better 'crust'? Add the slaw after heating the rest together? Thing is, it didn't answer these questions! Otherwise, it gives you all the bbq staples in one dish!
