Hi guys:
I know there are some issues that need to be looked at and belive me they are all being looked at and corrected as quickly as we can. Mike said it alot better than I can, he does have a bit of a gift for words.
I would like to bring you up to date on a few of the issues.

1/ I received all of the news letter articals from Mike over the weekend and will have it to the printers by tomorrow. It should be in the mail by Thursday or Friday.

2/ The membership cards are printed and up to date as are the member certificates. They will be mailed with the newsletter.

3/ I looked at the historical over veiw of the CBSA web site for last year and this year and both years postings and hits dropped off after summerfest in July and last year it picked back up in November. It is IMO that alot of the members are just busy doing too many things to get on the forum during that time, I know I am.

4/ The chatroom also shut down last year from June till November.

5/ Last year we had 1,497 hits this year todate we have 8,211 hits, so we are growing.

6/ I did have some members that asked that there info not be put on a list, and I'm putting a list of the rest of the members together now to go out in the November newsletter.

7/ We need members that are interested in writing articals for the newsletter, as this area seams to be our biggest problem in getting the Smoke Signals out on time.

I hope this clears up some of the issues you as members have, and again as Mike said we are a young club and I think we are bound to have growing pains and we do. But as long as we work together the CBSA will continue to grow and get better at the little things as well as the big things.

I believe that if you are not happy with the way things are getting done then get involved "don't walk away and throw your hands up in the air" I know that distance makes it difficult for many of you to be more involved, but we have to find ways around that.
