Subject: Dumb Question "Butchers string"

I hve done Beer can Chickens and various cuts of chicken on the Charcoal BBQ But picked up a whole chicken 2day. Wanna Q it but noticed reference to "Butchers String to tie it up!!
Can U use regular twine or what??
Gonna use Indirect method, I got lottsa time, lottsa beer and a parka!!
