Anybody here a fan of this mess of porky goo? It comes in a little cryovac pac, netted gob of pork that they say to boil for 1.5 hrs/lb?? I buy em once in a while because BBQfan2 (Denise) likes them... Are they made from the butt roast or what the hell is that stuff? I like it well enough, but it's kind of like 'mystery meat'...LOL I've taken to boiling it for close to the prescribed time, but then taking it to the Egg for about 1/2 hour of smoke and grilling. It makes for a nice crust on the outside and the smoke jumps right into that piece of meat. Since we're on a budget, it's a nice cut of meat, since it lasts for one big feed, plus about 3 sandwiches after that, but just wondering if anyone else has tried smoking this particular product....
