Earl, the date sounds good, the only date at this point that is out for us is the weekend of the 20th, its my youngest sons birthday and we always do a little family thing..

I have done a hog just under 130 pounds so far, to be honest with you I like them quite a bit smaller, the 80-90 pound range seems to yield a fair amount of meat with minimal loss compared to the heavier ones where the grease just flows out the back like qfan after a big piss-up......(love ya Mike)

I`m looking forward to trying one in the 50 pound range, I would like to do one of them at about 225º and see how it turns out, I do my brother in laws baseball/hockey teams party in the fall, that might be my chance to do one then....start it real early and just let it render alllll day.....mine are always at higher temps for catering.

I`ll look forward to it...

Give us a list of what we can bring, I`ll gladly do the beans if you like..(psssst, maybe if reg drags his sorry arse we can talk him into doing some smoked eggs)....

Roger
