morning Peter. have you bought a gas grill or have you bought a smoker/slow cooker or could it be a charcoal fired grill ? all three are good but need a different approach to turn out some good food.

also what types of food do you like ? hamburgers and hotdogs are great but not anything like a smoked pork shoulder or a rack of ribs smoke roasted to perfection.

everyone here will try to help as much as possible, but if you could make it to Paris on June the 8th as Roger has mentioned you would be able to see first hand what this type of cooking is all about.
