Sorry, it appears the place is Schwartz's, not Schwabb's (you probably already know that having lived there 20 yrs)...and I should have mentioned that if you scroll down this page, Ron talks about his visit there, and I know there is even more conversation about Montreal Smoked Meat in the other archive pages, which you can access from the menu at the upper-right of the forum page, just look for 'Archives'....
