Subject: Hola Amigos

Good morning everyone.

Just got in Thursday night from a week in sunny Huatulco Mexico, and am trying to shake the cobwebs out.(not to mention the "Montezuma's Revenge"
We spent a week at an all inclusive, with unlimited food and booze. The food wasn't too bad, but I admit extreme disappointment when one of the items listed was "barbacoa de cerdo" (BBQ pork for us gringos), and it turned out to be leftover pork roast boiled down, shredded, and mixed with a watery sweet ketchup.

Maybe I should have asked the head chef if he needed a BBQ assistant ? To think of smoking various cuts of meat, sucking back Coronas, spending time by the ocean and getting paid for it ! Could there be a sweeter gig ?

I think I'll maybe do a Chicken or two in the electric today just to make the transition back to good old Canadian food. (After I pick up a dozen Coronas that is )

Anybody doing anything special this weekend ?

JMC
