Peter, but before you get the compliance sticker, you'll need RIV to process your claim, then the sticker comes in the mail,(unless they have changed that policy)

When I brought mine across, the holdup was just the lack of VIN#, not really the compliance sticker.
They wern`t concerned whether it was going to comply, all they do is fill out a importation form and one of the lines that they are supposed to fill in has no number then the binders get thrown out and for me it was the lack of the VIN# and I still got it across, but they gave me a person to contact at RIV within a timeframe, had I NOT contacted that person, I could have been asked to return the cooker to the US.
So a valid VIN# is very important.

If you have your invoice, a valid VIN# and money, you'll be flying.
