hey Roger , what are you doing home today ? yes i have been to Chris A's site and its very well done . as far as lump goes , no it seems to be exactly the same as far as control goes . i have had it at 200 degees and at 350 degrees . its all a matter of the three bottom vents . more air more heat.
i have been cooking quite a bit since i got it and becoming very familiar with its operation . in a cook like the other day i would have had to refill if i were using lump . another thing i did not notice was any bad taste using the briquets , but i have heard many people on the various forums complaining about the $hitty flavor it leaves . reg
