Subject: everyone hates luluheads

in the hefner song "broodmare" (from the EP the Hefner soul)
i always thought darren hayman was singing "everyone hates luluheads" at the start of the second verse. honestly!
well, i just looked at their website and the lyric actually is "everone hates newlyweds." fancy.

I still think "luluheads" is a good word and I will feel free to use it myself from now on.

On the subject of hefner lyrics, looking at them now (the early b-sides especially), they are disturbingly weird and pretty dodgy. Darren writes like a sexually repressed Victorian Catholic who's just been to his first orgy and is all confused and is writing a self-published chapbook of bad poetry about it.
Then again, he has some brilliant witty quotable lines and he has a brilliant knack for making you listen to what he's saying, and picking the right little details of life to mention.
but he's still a luluhead.
