Subject: Oh Pandora! What hast thou unleashed?

Last night (i.e., just now) i went to see the very very fine band Deep Waters play at the Primrose. They remind me a bit of Ballboy, but with classier guitars, even mellower (though with some rocking moments.) Great lyrics and singing.

Anyway, both the other bands scheduled (including Orpahan Embryo, remember them? You'll be sorry to hear they just split up)cancelled, and to fill up the vaccuum it became a sort of open mic night, and i got to do some solo numbers in front of strangers for the first time. (Mostly strangers that is- Deep waters guitarist "placebo" Chris was obviously there, and he introduced me as someone who paid him to take his clothes of, which is sort of accurate. But we'll say no more about that.)

I played "I like to Drink Whisky" because it seemed like the right moment, plus the two songs i did on my own at Lower woodstock, "Pettigrew Crescent" and Jonathan Richman's "that Summer Feeling".

Thus the first Seven Inches solo project is unleashed! Who will now follow me into the breach? Aroint ye!

iiiiiiiiian!
