Being dyslexic, hating to take tests in school, college, etc. The less wordage to a test question enables the dyslexic to answer correctly. We get lost in the wordage. Get to the point, it will hold our attention better. Oral exams are key to success! It is very typical of teachers, stating there is no problem with the child, they are just lazy!!! Such a false statement!!! Your negativity will show and it cause the student to shut down even more. There are many forms of dsylexia and you need to understand what type that child has. Your desire to see the student successful will help them through any barriers.
