I See alot of the phrase I wish I was as smart as them in your pice, I don't think that is what you mean I could never do sculpture I have no head for arts at all. Just because you have a speciffic difficulty related to reading and writing has absolutely NO BARING whatso ever on whether you are Smart or intelligent or not. I can not realy spell as you can probalby see I have similar problems reading lectures off the board but I'm still at med school. currently struggling to write a project on epilepsy I know alot about it but just can't put it down. I have asked for help with the lectue notes and struggled to get this but I should get it this year.
Speek to your tutors and your lecturers ask them who deals with learning disability at the college and work out what the best way is to get slides ( if it is power point they should be able to send you the file for you to print or print it themselves - I know that in the UK they have funding to support students with disabilities don't let them get away with it!

Try to find out what lectures are going to be about in advance and read up on them before hand so you don't feel so lost don' be afraid to ask anyone to go over anything again because they were to fast- their are payed to teach you and presumably you are paying to wards this they therefore should teach you in a way you can follow!!
