Hey sorry here about troubles you are having. Some teachers despite there vast degrees are ignorant and just plain jerks when comes to people with dyslexia. There a couple things you need to know, one they have to help you, they have no choice, and it is the law. Most colleges have legal aid for students; they can refer you to FREE legal help. This might be in the form of a consultation, but it will point you in the right direction. You can go to your students with disabilities center at your college to start, if you did all ready, then tell them what is going on. If you got no results from them, then go back to the Dean of Student explain to him/her what has or not happened and demand the help you need. If your willing to push it; explain to him/her the help you need is cheaper then discrimination law suit. You have to stand up for your rights. Unfortunately there's a lot discrimination at that colleges all round the US. Sometimes it takes a strong student to stand up to them even it means going to court. And if you don't want to pursue that route is quite fine because is it might also be just as simple as switching to a different teacher and or studying a different language. The choice is yours. John
