I understand your frustration, not because I am dyslexic but have a child who is. When we stand to close or up to our eye-brows with a struggle, we cannot see that there are strengths that you have gained with dyslexia. Go to your friends and family so that they can tell you your strengths. For example: You have been working for years to overcome problems with your reading and writing. So you are goal oriented and work hard at achieving those goals no matter how hard or long it takes. You have determination and you think "out-side-the-box" or beyond standard formats to achieve your goals. Being creative and determined are wonderful traits to put on a resume.
Are you on time for appointments and dependable? Those are the most complained about short-comings from an employer. You have problem-solving skills that you have developed on your own. Do you embrace change? Do you get along well with other? These are also wonderful traits to list on a resume.

I know this is too late to get to you for your class but maybe you can use this advice on a future resume. You have developed some wonderful skills and traits because of dyslexia. Please look at it as such: You have been wired so that you may see the world in a different and spectacular way. You and only you can see the wonder and the possiblities that has been layed out before you because of it.

God bless you on your journey.
